  5. hi guy firstly i need to say im not second guessing my vet im just interestded in others experiances and how you have handeled it. I have a 6mth old staffy boy and about a week ago he started to try and chew his back "feet" off i was concerned that this was off charater so when i went to the vet to get his stiches out today (was just desexed) i asked about it she offered that it may be an allergy and to start a steroid treatment and see if that makes a differance written on the bottle is: Macroione tablets 20mg and to take 1/2 tab once a day for 3 days then 1/2 tab every second day The only time i have heard of steroid use is in humans with some pretty serious side affects what kind of side effects should i look out for and is there any treatments i should try aswell thanks for your help sera

  7. This has got me totaly confused we have a 4mth old staffy pup that has been really good untill this morning apart from the few accidents when toilet training he has never diliberatly peed or pooped inside we are even in the middle of training to poop in one spot outside also he knows that he is not alloud in the childrens bed rooms there is a line between the tile and the carpet and he never crosses it unless he is with me to day we let him out for the normal morning pee and poop he then went to his "bed" in the lounge to watch cartoons with the kids all as normal about 10 mins later hubby heard his collar and tag rattleing in the kids bed room we went up to see and he had pooed on the floor and peed on the bed? I just cant understand this there was no sniffing around befor hand and when he wants to go out to toilet he sits at the back door and scratches he didnt even do that. Hubby is pissed and has now demanded that our inside dog remains outside from now on how do i get back to the happy arrangment we had befor do i have to compleatly retrain? im so upset that this has happened and i dont know what to do next thanks guys Sera
