  1. Just another thing to consider is to be very careful of what you say on line via a public forum.

I had an absolute terrible time last year and posted here, puppy buyer printed every page and submitted it at mediation.

For me it was a great lesson learned.

Keep a complete record of all emails, letter, conversations ect because you might need them.

So sorry for your trouble I know what you are going through.

  2. I am just doing on line entry for Spring Fair and realized that my puppy born on the 02/03/12 will be 6 months on Sunday 02/09/12,

Just need to know does she have to go into " Puppy Bitch " (sad)

Yes I know that is right but just need to double check

  3. Can you take her home at the close of the clinics day and have your vet follow you home?

You can settle her in a favorite spot and let her go to sleep in peace at home.

That is if she can be off oxygen for that long.

    Sorry for your dilemma.

  4. I have had the ethics of this procedure out with at least 4 veterinarians who wanted to perform JPS on puppies that I have bred and 3 were practicing in the ACT the other on the central coast.

Thankfully all of my puppy buyers have contacted me after their vet spoke to them about Juvenile Pubic Symphysiodesis and asked why the procedure should be done, especially as their puppy comes from lines where all dogs on the pedigree have excellent hip scores (which of course they showed to the vet) who still advocated they go ahead with surgery :swear:

These days every puppy goes to a new home with a 2 page warning about vets who offer JPS.

There is also another thread I started here about 3 years ago.

  5. JMHO ~ small claims or mediation will not work if people cannot or will not come to an agreement on their own.

All small claims do is get people together to talk and they offer alternate ways to overcome their problem.

    Does very little actually.

    Been there done that.

Small claims do not care only wanting some resolution in one session.

Extremely stressful for a person who has never previously had dealing with the law.
