with all this talk about people whose dogs have Kennel Cough or have since contracted it .... I hope anyone entered at Melbourne Royal read one of the conditions of entry that you signed .... "I certify that the exhibit/s has/have not within a period of three months from the first day of the Royal Melbourne Show been in a kennel affected by distemper, canine hepatitis, parvo virus or any other contagious or infectious disease and that during the last 12 months prior to the date of this Royal Melbourne Show the exhibit/s was/were vaccinated."

via Dogs Vic; Greensborough & District Kennel Club Inc have advised that Mr P Poulton (NSW) and Dr K Sunn (NSW) are unable to fulfil their judging appointments on Saturday 21 July 2012. Group one will now be judged by Mr D Sales (Tas) and group seven will now be judged by Mrs C Eastley (Tas).

as others have stated ... often I'll donate to Club members comps etc .... if it's dog food I don't use I'll sell it and buy what I do use .... I have no problem at with people selling their trophies ...

you need 8 CC's .... doesn't matter how many exhibits ... even if you're the only one and you win the CC. pretty sure one of them has to be after 12months of age.

EXACTLY .... many congrats to ALL who have obtained this new title (including me..VBG) ....

there have been several reported on facebook .... from NSW & Qld who had shows today .... and yes .. a Maltese has the Certificate already ... express processing at DogsNSW and they stayed and waited for it.

Every yahoogroup list I belong to I can search by someones name and see what they've done and where .... Yes it would be nice if our controlling bodies had a database .. but that's never going to happen .... Many years ago I used to keep a card system of all judges I showed under ... gave up on that long time ago ... I never forget the bad ones ... :)

many breeds have "lists" on Yahoo and members post results regularly .... in my breed results are posted every weekend from all over the country ... it's a great resource...

very difficult at allbreed shows in most breeds ... even in popular breeds ... If they don't like my type of dogs I don't bother again ...

yes .. it has been posted on lists and facebook that the comp is going ahead.....

and what regulation gave them the right to refuse your entry ????

I think most assumed it to be 1st July .... but the published regulation does state; A Supreme Championship will not be awarded to animals retrospectively, but an animal will be eligible to be awarded the title of Supreme Champion, if they gain some points towards the title of Supreme Champion (1000 points) after the implementation date of the 1 July 2012.

as posted on the DogsVic facebook page ... they have clarified with ANKC ... qualifying win is required AFTER the 1st of July NOT on the 1st of July , so only from the 2nd of July.
