  1. I agree :) and if they were judging General Specials I wouldn't enter either.
  2. I too think it's a great idea .... For me though, after showing over the weekend the last thing I want to do is go out again on a Monday night :)
  3. Group 1 - Maltese Group 2 - Kerry Blue Group 3 - Flat Coat Group 4 - LH Dachie Group 5 - Puli Group 6 - Samoyed Group 7 - Lhasa Apso BIS: Maltese BIS2: Samoyed BIS3: Kerry Blue BIS4: Flat Coat results via facebook .....
  4. Option 4 ... prejudging sounds good to me ... I also like to idea of General Specials judge not having judged any Group Specials.
  5. thanks for all the results ... and looks like a good finish time too ...
  6. I think you mean Group 2 :) Best in Group 1 was the Lowchen ...
  7. only result I heard was the Italian Greyhound taking out Best in Group....
  8. I'd rather see an email address in the schedule than a phone number ... Then you don't feel like you're intruding ...
  9. It can be very difficult to know what time is best .... Many people work so may not be available during the day. If it was me .. I'd probably call between 6-9pm and then of course you run the risk of calling while they're having dinner.
  10. does she let you "mouth" her ?? I have one that doesn't like judges checking teeth so as soon as the judge approachs I ask if they mind if I mouth ... had never had a negative reaction from a judge yet ...
  11. very low Toy entry .... show should be over nice and early :) edited to add ... Pug Ch show tomorrow obviously effected Toy entry ...
  12. "a round of their own" ?? were they against each other ?? they would have been bad luck in the draw.
  13. It was a long day but it was a nice day .... and yes the Group entry was far bigger than every other Group. Our Judge (Group 1) only took a 30 minute break which I think was pretty damn good ... having been to shows where they can take an hour or more !!! I'm sure it would have been disappointing for the "public" if the show had been "done & dusted" too early as the dog area was quite a large part of the show and it would have looked deserted...
  14. damn ... and I was going to ask ....
  15. the schedule doesn't state anything about any particular order so with 7 judges I'd expect 7 rings and them all to start at 9am.
  16. I doubt it ... look at the many events that have "exclusive" caterers .... and here in Vic that applies to KCC Park & Bulla.
  17. no more crowded than any other indoor show at KCC Park ... tomorrow will be the challenge with 10 judging rings !!!
  18. lets hope that as you say; "that all exhibitors show consideration to each other, and use the minimum area for personal space." :)
  19. Was great to be invited .... I have 2 qualified for Top Dog and another for Top Puppy. We have a function that evening that I really can't get out of (family thing) ... and I wouldn't send them with anyone else.... Would have been just my luck to have judges I probably wouldn't enter under at a normal show anyway ... but then of course you never know :) :)
  20. with split groups there wouldn't be enough room inside anyway ....
  21. WOOHOO !!!!!!!!!! way to go "Hudson" .... many congrats !!!!
  22. some Toy results (not always in results online as some aren't entering pointscore); Saturday; BIG: Lowchen (K Harding) RUBIG: Cavalier (Petersen) Sunday; BIG: Cavalier (different dog to Sat but same owners) RUBIG: Lowchen (same as Sat)
  23. thank SwaY ..... lovely lineup for BIS :)
