Teebs, I am literally crying tears for Atlas. Losing my Chloe to IMHA 2 weeks ago brings back those horrible memories. Please know that you are in my thoughts and that you gave Atlas the best life he could have dreamed of. You will feel better when he is back home... Run free sweet boy....

Seeing this thread came up are me sad as almost 2 weeks ago I lost my girl to this. she was 3 and a half. I am praying so hard for you that he will get through this as I can understand the worry you would be feeling right now. I know that dogs can get through this but in my case she went downhill in 3 hours. I don't want to upset you with my story but just know that I am keeping you in my thoughts and praying that he makes it through this. Much love... Hugs

I dusted off my 50 1.4 on saturday, ive been playing with my 24-70 too much! I think I fell in love with it again...

What brand card reader is it? I bought a brand new San Disc one and it lasted a week before it died... plugged it into OH's computer and wouldnt work. Got a refund and bought a cheaper Q Pix one that works a treat ;)

Kirislin, your pics straight out of the camera are already quite good. I too find the softness annoying, especially when you are really aiming for a super sharp shot. What lens did you use for that shot? The bokeh is beautiful in the bg I dont sharpen any of my original pics after PP, only when ive resized and for web use. I use photoshop though to sharpen. ETA - GIMP is a really good free editing program that I used before I bought photoshop and lightroom. I found its sharpening tool worked very nicely as you could adjust the intensity. http://www.gimp.org/

Huga, do this: Select 'New', make it something like 600x300 px or similar Type in the font you want as your WM. Flatten the layers. Then click on edit, define brush preset, give it a name and viola!! you have a watermark Bec, I feel you pain. Im longing for that 70-200 2.8 IS. I just have a little bit more to save!! How are you finding the sigma?????

Nope, photoscape is not compatible on mac huga, hence why its only on my laptop and not on my imac :D - BUT DEFINITELY GET A MAC! my watermark is made as a brush in photoshop, so no help to you there :D I did watch a tutorial on youtube about how to watermark in lightroom but ive never actually done it myself
