  1. I was there today and loved it. The breed next on my list is the Newfoundland, so thats where I was for a while, chatting to a breeder, she was so helpful and willing to answer all my questions.

    Me with the Newfie:

So many beautiful dogs, Poodiful, I saw the toy poodles and spoke to someone that was holding the standard poodles. I said to her how good it is to see beautiful pure poodles instead of crosses and she said a lady had just asked her why a Maltese x poodle is not a recognised breed because she has one and they are terrific. LOL The toys are just sooo gorgeous!

Bought some showbags, a Natural spray for itchy skin, Oscars Law car sign and Save the Bears tea towel.

I was also looking forward to seeing Sphinx cats, but there was only one, curled up asleep in its crate and it was roped off so that you could hardly see it. I was disappointed about that.

  2. Sounds like a really sweet thing to do, I would have loved if my breeders did something like that.

Even the ones you don't keep in contact with, maybe you can put on the card that if they ever need any advice they can ask you anytime and you hope everyting is going well for them. I don't think it can hurt.

I try and send updated pics to my breeders about 3 times a year, for my Ragdoll cat, every year.

  3. Mia is amazing looking! Congrats on your new furbaby.

I wouldn't worry about her sleeping on the concrete. I have two indoor dogs, they have a beautiful bed inside, they prefer the floorboards (sleep on the bed with us at night though) and when they are outside they have another bed and a kennel. The kennel never gets used, the bed got chewed at the corners but gets used by one dog, the other prefers to lie in the dirt and grass!! He actually digs a hole and puts himself in there to sleep.

She has a thick coat, im sure she is not cold at all.

  4. So who here dresses up their dogs? just a fun thread, post up pics of your dogs in their favourite outfits.:o :D

I just bought a new dress for Lola and a new tshirt for Arnie, so I was thinking who else does buys clothes for their dogs?

Mine love being in clothes, they dont have a problem with it. I know some people are against putting them in clothes, but I see no problem if the dog is not uncomfortable.

So what have you bought lately for your pooch?!
