geez superminty, stop cracking the whip on me, I'm a very slow typer so it took me a while to get all on here , but thankyou & piper. Our first run did leave much to be desired though .

Bit of a brag Izzi got her advance title today & high in trial just to top it off, I'm one very happy camper at the moment , ok stopping bragging now :laugh:

Only 5 weeks untill the herding clinic getting very excited now . Fencing all done, stones shifted, got portable yards all lined up & sheep are as quiet as I can can get them, one even bites , don't worry hasn't got rabies :laugh:. Almost time to start counting the sleeps, won't get to ahead of myself I'll wait one more week then start counting :laugh:.

Maybe it is just doing some training after all anyone can train, they just can not enter ANKC tests and trials. The person insisted that the poodle was competing officially. Weird. in the latest Poodle variety, USA, the Poodle club/association has started herding trials for Poodles, now that's in America not here I know but thought it was interesting :). Now onto a totally different topic :D , getting really excited at the moment about 2 things #1 Izzi, Pebbles & Delta came home with 6x1st, 2x2nd 1 HIT & 1 R/U HIT & 5 titles between them at our last trial YAY love the girls :D . #2 it's getting closer to the Dave Viklund clinic at our place, the paddocks cleaned up, fencing & gates are in place, sheep are getting nicely quiet, with my dogs at least & the smaller details are coming together woohoo roll on July .

Sorry Piper not trying to make you jealous but we're having way to much fun to keep it a secret :D. Had another sheep day yesterday & had a ball, then had 8 dogs all running & playing around the paddock. Very happy with all the dogs & having two of us training we can help each other, sooo much easier :).

Our vet came to the house when we put Dova down, the vet nurse, a male, & vet were terrific, we'll do the same when it's JC's turn. It's hard enough putting you pets down with out having to go into a vet clinic full of people .

thought you were talking about the clients there for a moment, very glad you cleared it up . Been to hot here for doing sheep stuff, not loving it at all. Did walk up's with Izzi yesterday, some nice straight walk up, moved the sheep off the feed & a person, bit crooked to the fence then back to the feed, I didn't move , very pleased. Pebbles & Delta put in a bit of good work too but Delta needs to slow down a bit more & Pebbles is a bit worried about coming between me & the sheep, happy with all 3 of them :D . Roll on Trudy clinic & trialing season, is it ok if we come over the border for a trial, or two, superminty pleeeease :laugh: .

Keep trying, she should be home by now :laugh:.

We had another run today & had a great time again, just thought I'd let you know Ness . Roll on Trudy clinic, counting down the sleeps .

Friend of mine has visited, played sheepies, left homework for me to do & is coming next Saturday to check it's been done , the girls have been doing real well . Happy herding New Year everyone :D .

Took Izzi to our vet/behaviourist & she put me onto that & it's working well, started with looking at me then rewarding any relaxed behaviour at home. She worries about other dogs so even took her to the vets waiting room & did some relaxation training there with good results. Trying to get the deep breath relaxation, her not me LOL, it hard to see her breath in so that's a work in progress, as you can guess I'm all for it :D .

I get that comment when out with my 4, 2 Coolies, 1 Kelpie & an Aussie Shepherd, usually answer with "we have our moments" & :), the other comment is "who's taking who for a walk", answer, I control direction & they control speed so we get to my destination fast :laugh:. There are some people you just want to smack in the mouth, you know the ones with the cat's bum mouths & the stick up thier a*se .

I had a great time, you Victorians were good fun to trial with looking forward to coming back, even if I have to disguise myself to get over the border .

Sorry about the epic novel of a brag but wrote what was in my head, think my hat size is three times smaller now :laugh:, & really am proud of the girls they went above & beyond my expectations.

Taken a few days folks, busy sleeping in the chair Monday night 10hrs after a 3.30am wake up does that to ya & back to work Tuesday. Ok this was our weekends placings, Izzi got a pass on 86 in intermediate & HIT, I stuffed her first run up, she got 2 passes in B course 85 & 90, first time inter & B course very pleased. Delta had 2 passes in HSAs 91 1/2 & 92 a 1st place & the biggest surprise she passed one B course with 85, 2nd run she did what I thought she'd do exploded & sent sheep every where . Now for miss Pebbles, HSAs 2 passes 77 1/2 & 94 1st place, 1st cow run I blew it for her but the 2nd one she passed on 77 & got HIT , also came home with highest score 2 stock types & highest score main/limited register. Sooo all in all we did ok I think . Now we have to come back to finish the cow title I guess can't just leave it like that :laugh:.

Sigh of relief, think I fogged up all the windows for miles arround with it . Yep was very happy after talking to James :D.

Way to go superminty congrats, won't be able to knock the smile off you face for a week :D. Vet came out to see Izzi work today & the news is all good , I can start working her again, not over work of course, & plan our next trial , think I'll have to look at coming over the border, really itching to do our first intermediate. Vet also said it was cool watching Izzi work she's really good, had a little strut around about that coment :laugh:.

Just heard back from them & WOOHOO dogs are ok in the rooms , I'll be staying there on my next trip over, hmm & the one after that & the one after that :laugh:. now that I'm pretty sure Izzi's working caree will be OK & after the vet comes tomorrow I'll know when we can start planning our next trip, hopefully to enter a trial , I'm itching to do our first intermediate now.

Wow 100% congrats , that's a result to brag about :D.

After Izzi went to the vet last Monday then spent all Thursday & today in there I at least know where her problem is, lower back, the vet's coming here Monday to see her work, do an out run at least, then hopefully I'll find out if Izzi will continue working towards her Advanced or have a short herding career, it's the former.
