Bear is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier..

Did you tell the RSPCA about the condition of the dog? It was their job to come and get it plus it was also the rangers job to come and get the dog. You should get on the phone and complain to the RSPCA and the member of parliament and the council. Because these people are getting paid to do a job and they aren't doing it. That was just a cop out by them. Horrible for the dog and for you. You cant blame yourself you tried. I guess next time demand them to come and get it or try and take it to the pound. Good on you for trying anyway you did the right thing.

Is it recommended to get a clicker to help with training this trick?

You could also try your local op shops.. usually they have a few things they give away..

Im so sorry to hear about your dog Elfin, I hope he recovers well. I just wish some people would socialise their dogs from an early age. I have a little Staffordshire Bull Terrier and he is great with other dogs, cats and even Kangaroos. I just hope this doesnt put you off all Staffy's.. Take care

Try the Veterinary Board of SA they normally just deal with complaints but they also deal with registrations of Veterinarians so hopefully they can help their number is 8269 3216. Sorry if they are no help..

Nothing is safe with Bear, best not to leave your shoes out, dont let him near the clean clothes or dirty clothes.. At the moment we are getting some averies built out the back yard, so Bear is stuck inside half the time, anyway i come inside during a break and turn around to Bear and he yourns and to my suprise his tounge is bright pink, fluro pink to be exact, I then investigate a little further and he has a pink texter sitting right next to him, now everytime i go close to him all i can smell is texter lol.. Just a quick question but what is the best way to stop dogs chewing on stuff you dont want them too? Is it if you see them chewing something that they shouldnt just take it away and pass them one of their toys? Thanks guys..

This morning I took my 14 week old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bear for a walk, up ahead I see a man walking with his 2 dogs. I notice both of them are off the lead and running about. These dogs are around 50 or so metres in front of their owner and both of them circle around Bear, he is a little frightened at first. The guy yells out "dont worry they wont bite him", so i yell back "my puppy isnt used to so many dogs just yet" so i keep walking with Bear.. We turn around after about another 20 mins, I turn the corner to my house and I notice the 2 dogs this guy owns are outside my house. I get inside my dads shop and the guy is in there talking to my dad, really gave me the shits lol

Hi all just a question about my 9 week old Staffordshire Bull Terrier pup.. I know that they talk alot, but is it normal for them to talk non stop? Every time he comes to me or my parents for a pat he doesnt stop talking and when he is play fighting with our other dog he talks the whole time.. He is extremely happy non stop wagging, so I think he is fine....

Sorry didnt explain as much as I should have the puppy will be 8 weeks when i get him and he is on his mums milk but also getting fed dry food here and there..

Hi all I was just wondering what dog foods are best for my dogs.. At the moment my 8 yr old kelpie is on Pedigree Pal.. My puppy is still on its mums milk and I wont be receiving him for around 2 weeks now.. Ive heard that Barf is good, also any natural dog foods.. There is also Royal Canin which makes breed specific dog foods.. Thanks
