  1. i completely agree. these stupid rules r in place for dogs, why not people too? the ones that do the wrong thing anyway?
  2. This is just disgusting, how could anyone do that to those beautiful dogs. Poor Jack and his slit throat then rubber band and the poor staffy who dangled by its leg from a fence. wat is wrong with people in the world? This makes me so angry, i hope they catch the a**h**** who did this and lock them up. if they only get a fine that's not enough, and wont stop them from doing this again. if a human did that to another human they wuld go to jail, i dnt see why it cant be that way for animals. Animals dnt get enough justice wen it comes to abuse and murder.
  3. Thanks for the guesses lol BTW how do i delete one of my own topics?
  4. Wat is my dog?!!! i got him from the local pound, as a puppy he was said to be a JRTx, but obviously not lol he's got a bit of Kelpie in him, i think and maybe a bit of border collie. A friend of mine who works with dogs said that she think's he's got a bit of Smooth Coat Collie in him too. i looked up Smooth Coat Collie and him temperament, markings and features seem to match and he's a bit taller than yout average Kelpie and Border Collie too, so he's obviously not a pure bred! Can i get the professionals (you dog owners/lovers) help! i've attached a few pics to help out! And i apologise in advance if i posted this in the wrond discussion forum, just let me know and i'll change it! 6. Oh yeah, i'm sure the dogs really care that they are giving birth to 'cross-breds' i feel so sorry for the poor girls! People like the breed, so what! And not just because they are cute but are great family pets. Tho any dog can become a good family pet if it is raised right and has responsible owners...
  7. u can find better videos of it on youtube, just type in worlds smallest horse. Aww, so cute hehe
  8. Disgusting, just disgusting. There are no words for that. My deepest sympathies go out to the family who looked after her and were so casually dismissed and led-on, to the point of believing the horse was doing fine. I cant believe they weren't informed that Brandy was going to be put down, and that they didnt let them take her back, even after they had the money. The RSPCA in Townsville are **sholes, and obviously care more about themselves than the animals, which is not how a place like the RSPCA should be ran. It makes me so angry, just disgusting. RIP Beautiful Brandy, now ur running free and happy with no more colic and stress. RIP pretty girl
  9. A friend of mine suggested i use Bitter Ex, i think its called. its the stuff people put on their fingernails to stop chewing them.. Will that work? it wont harm him and it doesnt smell bad apparently, just tastes bad!!!
  10. She was just trying to help that dog and they both died RIP animal loving lady and dog ;)
  11. if u want to provoke a dog attack, u do wat they say in the second article. that's just wrong, in my opinion. if u want to see how a dog is around children, u rough it up a tiny bit and slightly pull its ears, if u get no reaction from that, then all should be fine. The poor dog got put down because of their stupidness. They are just trying to get sympathy and money, which is why at the end the woman says she 'doesn't know where her family is going to get the money.' The poor helpless child and dog died because of irresponsible people... Disgusting really
  12. Since my boy lives outside i had to get him a coat and he even chews it, so for the moment at night he is coatless, at least it hasnt been too cold during the nights, yet. is there anything i culd spray or put on his coat that tastes/smells bad so he wont chew it. tho i dnt want something too stinky because he will be sleeping in the coat and i dnt want him to be uncomfartable. Anyone got anything for me?
  13. Poor baby. RIP Little Thomas Wat i don't understand is how the dog was in the place. It wasnt her dog, did she have every door in her house open? including the front door, which would be very irresponsible. Poor little baby, such a young life cut short :D Little bub is in heaven now
  14. Just tried out my boy with one of the men here. Had the man hold out some traets at waited for my boy to come and eat them, he gradually did but was still quite guarded and scared. Will have to keep doing this for how ever long it takes! At least it worked, for a little while anyway lol Thaks for all the tips, will keep u all updated!
  15. My experience is that vets have experience with medicine, not behaviour. I suggest getting a qualified behaviourist in who can spend some time with you and the dog and see his reactions. If you let us knwo the area you live in I'm sure someone can suggest a behaviourist who is great. I'm in bendigo victoria, i don't think i'd be able to afford a behaviourist though, thats why i thought of a vet because i'm close friends with one and culd probably get 1 consultation for free!!! lol Had you got your dog from a rescue, I'd be suggesting that's who you talk to. Did you? I got him from the pound here so i cant really find out anything about his background.
