  1. Teekay, love the Luka lovin ????
  2. I can only vouch for the products that I use. Have found the Thundershirt extremely effective for calming my very anxious girl. She is fearful of just about everything & very storm phobic. I put the shirt on before going to crowed places as well because she is very apprehensive & it just helps take the edge off. I don't use it in hot weather though. Nor would I leave her it on her unattended. I never leave anything on my dogs when I'm not around. No collar etc. Not worth the risk IMO. She runs up to me as soon as she see's me getting it out as she loves wearing it so that to me is a very positive indication that she must feel some benefit with it on. Have also had success with the Adaptil spray. I spray it on her bedding & also on her collar. She is sleeping regular right through the night now. Previously she would wake & become very agitated up to 6 or 7 times a night. Having said this every dog is different & what works for one may or may not work for another. If you are wondering if a TS may help you could get a kids Tshirt & pop it on her a making sure it fits quite firmly around girth & tie a knot in it.
  3. Oh great news on Y4 ???????? All paws crossed for Y33. The other lovely ol'duckie ????
  4. I'm interested in more info about the Newcastle one as well. My email is [email protected]
  5. I actually got mine on Ebay from OS. Best $$$ too. Don't know about the new ones but I will certainly be looking into them. They look even better than ours. Loving what looks like more cover over the neck area.
  6. They are both gorgeous old ducks alright. So well behaved even in such different & anxious circumstances. I am always looking on our pound & rescue pages & it always never ceases to amaze & deeply sadden me at the sheer number of lovely dogs, especially working dogs (my personal fav's) that are just dropped off or dumped for a multitude of reasons. Some genuine but some just plain heartless & pathetic. Poor dogs ???? all they want is to be a loved family member. The upside is all the wonderful hard working pound & foster folk that open their hearts & doors to these beauties. Another aspect that blows me away is how most of them can adapt to their new living conditions in no time at all. Eg. A Kelpie off some property out the back of the nevers finds a foster home in suburbia. They wouldn't of seen anything much apart from a lot of dirt. Yet they adapt usually so well & within weeks to every part of their new life. Just so resilient & brave.
  7. Buddie & Wendy look just delightful & very spritely considering their age. Also loved Angus & Malcom on that site Hazy. They are another elderly pair in need of help. Gorgeous ???? I think it's so good that they are eligible to be sanctuary dogs. That if such a bonus for anyone that is seriously considering adopting them. I had never heard of this before. Wonderful concept ????
  8. Love the look of the new ones lisaCC. Might have to upgrade LOL
  9. We have the rain coat ones. They don't have any lining. They are very thin & exceptionally light. So much so I was very skeptical that they would keep the dog's dry. But they do. Also love the leg elastic's as they keep the coat in place. Had other coats & for some reason Stella's would end up slipping to one side. Highly recommended them :)
  10. That's hilarious Hazy ???? My girl is the same. Brings tears to our eye's LOL . She can clear our lounge room in one VERY fowl swoop ????
  11. Thanks skip☺ Quick update. Sonny is going well with the clicker. He is just so focused. So much more than if I were just using my voice. I keep lessons very short & try to end before he gets frustrated. He offers up lots of behaviors & he seems to thrive on these sessions. Stella also loves it. Anything to do with treats & Stella is 100 % focused ????. I have been unwell the last 4 days but hoping to restart again tomorrow.
  12. Ours don't get Hurtta'd up unless it's more than a shower of rain. They come in very handy when we are away caravaning. Not great having 2 wet dogs in the van. So after a coated walk in the rain I only have to blow dry their legs/feet off ???? Hazy, love Stan & Maddie's coats ???? How funny is Stan. He really needs to man up in the wet weather LOL.
  13. I was blissfully unaware my boy was suffering from Arthritis in his hips. He is 6 years old. If your dog does have Arthritis. It can be managed. I, like you, felt so guilty. How could I miss this??? ???? Most dogs are very stoic really. They just don't let on they are in any pain. After a spine, hip & rear leg Xray Sonny is on daily pain relief & anti inflamitories. Also I give him golden paste (turmeric, cold press coconut & cracked black pepper) which I make. Dried mussels. As well as Omega 3,6,9 +E. plus Technyflex supplement ☺
  14. Ronin has his rain eye's on in the second photo LOL His coat really suits him. Stella is a Hurtta red rain coat fashionista too. Sonny has a black Hurtta. They are great coats. Unless it is really bad weather & deemed just too dangerous by the weatherman, we walk rain hail or shine. Usually 6 or 7k's a day. If I am unwell or my Arthritis is playing up we do treadmill aka "Milly". They love Milly. Of course not nearly as exciting as a beach trip or bush walk but it does take the edge off ????
  15. Breathtaking perse. Just beautiful...
  16. I have Stella on Rose Hip Vital & it contains Vit.C from memory Yonjuro. She is a very healthy girl generally & has loads of stamina. Her coat etc is gleaming. Whether it is this way due to RHV or her diet or a combo of both. I don't know.
  17. How did I miss this update on one of my favourite thread's. Great photo's as always Yonjuro. Go Ronin !!! Gosh your even a cover boy now ???? You are in your element sledding. Doing what you were bred to do boy. You certainly know how to have fun. Such a beautiful, handsome boy.
  18. Glad you are getting professional advice & you have involved the puppy's breeder.Best of luck. Please keep us posted. Take care.
  19. Oh my gosh. What a very brave boy Andy is. Its wonderful to hear of his transformation. You must be so proud of him & rightly so. He is so fortunate to have you as his caring owner & he knows you have his back. Such a sweet boy ☺:)
  20. Even coming in on a private jet they paper work to fill out apparently. Also thought customs do a walk through of the plane. Dear Johnny Depp must have stretched the truth perhaps. Sometimes folks with plenty of $$$ think the law doesn't apply to them for some strange reason. Or maybe he thought they were just little dog's so they wouldn't matter. Who knows???? All I know is I would be so peeved off if my dogs caught some infectious disease from his 2 little darlings. Or by some wild coincidence the dog groomer we used just happened to be the very same one that groomed the terrior's in question. Totally irresponsible behaviour from Depp IMHO.
  21. Gruf,I'm with you. Another LesPooch girl here ????
