I don't mind getting it from overseas but would rather Australia. Also because i show a few dogs and have lead for each dog, can someone suggest what they put their leads in. 10. Thanks everyone, i have been trying to make her happy again but shes not really liking that atm... Someone told me to try vitamin B complex... not sure if this works??? Someone also said to try obedience classes with her...
  11. I had a great show puppy bitch that was outgoing from birth then she has had a very long season and showing signs of being scared in the ring etc... And if dogs are behind her she hates it... I know she is only young but is there anything that anyone can suggest to give her, i know it's probably just her hormones but would like see if i can help her along the way :-)
  12. Thank you everyone for your replies. I know a friend that takes a $200 deposit but is non refundable if they simply change their mind. The person who is wanting my puppy is the best home i can ask for puppy but was getting a bit worried when she was email at least once to twice a day and then sent recent pics and heard nothing for nearly week. I emailed her to see if she got pics and she replied and was telling me this weekend she was setting yard etc up for puppy. Puppy is nearly 7 weeks old and even though i haven't advertised puppy but do have pics on my website i am getting several inquiries. So i think because puppy is nearly 7 weeks old that i should be asking for a deposit? As i don't want to be left with a puppy to sell at last minute. I too think with a deposit that i would refund in some circumstances but when they just change their mind i won't give a refund.
  13. Just wondering do breeders take deposits for puppies and is it a non refundable deposit? Also what age is puppy when you request deposit? And how much? do you ask for a percentage of puppy purchase price or do you ask for $200 or $300?? Would love to hear breeders opinion and views.
  14. Thanks everyone for your replies... I will be thinking about health guarantee heaps before i show the new owner. The new owner seems a lovely person, done a lot research into the breed. Thanks again
  15. I have a puppy out of my recent litter who i am selling as a pet on limited register as well as will be desexed prior to going new home. I have potential buyer for puppy and she sounds just ideal. She has asked if my vet will be able to provide a written guarantee of health? as well as has asked if that guarantee of health be included in the purchasing conditions? (ie some breeders offer refund if congenital heart, hip or sight problems appear) I have no problems with this as i test my breeding stock etc but have never been asked for a health guarantee before? But then i don't breed very often. Would love to hear on people thoughts.
  16. Thanks everyone for your advice, i have sent breeder an email telling her i will not take any responsibilty especially for the puppy she bred. If i had accidental mating and didn't want to use that dog because of a fault i know i wouldn't be keeping one puppy. So they asked about compensation but would not provide proof or further contact. They had a litter of pups. They must have sold off any of the other pups from the litter. Unless this pup was a singleton they must have sold off or given away other pups. Are they prepared to be responsible for everything the owners of these pups do. They kept a pup to run on and if that doesnt work out they want you to be responsible. Not bloody likely!!! Thats the same as me buying a car from you, 12 months later I get drunk lose control of my car, hit a tree and then say its your fault. You are NOT resposible for their actions.I'd tell them to grow up and be adults. They have to be responsible for their own actions. You asked for photos so you could assess the problem. If they choose not to provide the photos then there isn't much else you can do. All other actions after that are their own problem. Thanks for your reply Yaracully! Exactly right, they asked for compensation but couldnt provide any proof/pics etc... The litter was 3 puppies, they kept one and the other 2 were sold. Yep told me the pup they are keeping if mouth goes undershot/overshot etc then they are asking for compensation.... UM NO WAY! There choice to run on puppy, they bred it so tehy are responsible IMO... Yep i told them to grow up and think about what they have asked??? Haven't since heard from them...
  17. Thanks will check out great rugs

  20. Each panel measures 70 x 90cm, im 5'4 and that is only knee height! (70cm) The Bunnings ones are low but i wanted something much smaller for mum and pups until pups are like 3 weeks as be easier to step over etc.. The height of the ones i got from Reject shop are 45cm in heeight so quite low but do me because i have toys so no big issue. After 3 weeks of age i will use my Bunnings one but for now this one i great.
  21. Thanks everyone, Don't get me wrong... I also have a couple of the bunning compost ones which i have used to divide patio area and they work great but wanted something much lower that i can easily step over to get to mum and puppies instead of leaning over. Someone told me to try crazy clarks but they weren't very good quality. I went into reject shop and they ahd silver ones that have stakes to keep them together and are very sturdy. They were 8 panels for $40. Thanks everyone.
  22. Thanks Sway but didn't want the bunnings ones as want a bit better quality
  23. I ahve seen chi people with about knee height ones.
