Our Staffy Oscar , now the hot weather in Brisbane, scratches his under arm making it red. Is there something that has a very good record to stop the itch?

a quick fix-it for ant bites...rub a piece of cut onion onto the bite; the ouchie will disappear quick as a flash Thank You,that`s new to me, he does get that occassionally, i`ll try that. :)

:D Thanks for all replies. The vet sold us Mediderm, $29????? it doesn`t work. Epsom salts bath has been suggested and better still ocean salt water, if we can get to it. He does ease on a cool day. We`ve researched a lot, no moses plants or wandering dew around or others. Summer here is hard for him and Staffy`s get it easier. :)

Our Staffy Oscar doesn`t get the Eczema during cool weather here in Brisbane, but in the very hot days now he`s scratching quite a lot and makes it bleed under his armpit. We have been using pawpaw ointment is that ok please? :)

Our Staffy has severe itching daily, i think it is called (Eczema?). Would someone give some advice where they have had success in solving the problem please? :) Also could you tell me where the user control panel is please?

I`m looking for evening primrose oil in liquid form which is beneficial for Sensitive, Dry, Mature Skin, Eczema, Dermatitis on dogs. Does anyone know where i could buy the liquid form in Australia please? :)

(1)Yes arm pit but it`s ok there now.(2) We don`t have him on grass much as the front yard has no fence.(3) He`s only 10 months of age. We tried some aloe vera today to see if that reduces the itch. It`s very hot and humid here. Also, i got rid of some Rhoeo (moses plant) :)

(1)We tried Savlon. Would Aloe Vera ease the itch? (2) He`s had this under his front legs and in one ear, cut the ear. :)

We had a leather collar (possibly felt type stuff on the inside) for a while when walking (see attached) but changed to a harness that doesn`t go around his neck because being a fast walker it was tight around his neck and choking him. He doesn`t have a collar or harness on when at home. :)

Oscar (Staffy) has been scratching under his neck for a while now, wearing the hair off and cutting. Any suggestions? Maybe the heat here in Brisbane, very humid lately. We have Aloe Vera plants? :)
