  1. Our boy just turned 12 months and started whining in his crate lately. Worst part is it's either when we're about to go to bed or at 2am! Might be right about the warm nights so tonight I'm going to try leaving the door open to let a bit of cool breeze into the room.
  2. Yep, seen our first brown last week just up the road. Don't seem to get them on our block though. I think our kids make way too much noise.
  3. Must be a dobe thing eh? My Buddys the same. At least if he needs to go out to pee or poop he lets us know! :D
  4. There was a guy that was attending Horsham greyhound meets. Does anyone know if he still goes?
  5. Good to see council not making any exception just because of a dogs size. Too many little dogs with bad attitudes!
  6. Our last dobe had an obsession with socks. Would swallow them down like they were cigarettes! and bring them up all over the place. Glad your dogs ok
  7. Buy a crate that your dog will grow into. Dogs adapt better than we give them credit. I was against crate traing but trust me it is the BEST thing you can ever do for yourself and more importantly your dog!
  8. Pros Gives the puppy a place as that can "own" Gives the puppy & you time out. Good for when you need to isolate the dog Can go camping, holidays, etc. For shows, etc, etc, etc Cons Price
  9. I just noticed our boys skin underneath is fairly red. He is fed a raw diet. Any ideas on diet changes. Could it maybe be the grass is his yard.
  10. Years ago I was always against the idea of using a crate but now I realise how naive I was Our last two puppies have both been crate trained and my advice is get a crate now, it is one of the best things you can do for your puppy!
  11. Our boy would probably sound like Bobcat Goldthwait :D
  12. Dobermanns are one of the main breeds that suffer from cervical vertebral instabilty (wobbler syndrome) which is caused by an instabilty in the intervertebral discs in the neck area. Signs normally develop between 4 and 10 years of age.
