  1. My dearest friend Dianne Thank you for all the advice, help and chats over the last 10 years or so. I will miss you. You were a great lady. Tony, my deepest sympathies are with you. Felipe
  2. My beautiful Kes, Ch. Wiesenland Iced Mosaic AZ, went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Her eyes told me that it was time to go and I had to let her. I'll never forget the pleasure that she brought to our household, the wins, the celebrations and the joy. Her legend lives through her son Pastoraleman King Kong and the puppies he has sired. My appreciation to Kes's breeders, Di & Tony, for all these years of happiness.
  3. Chicken mince from Lenards is really just minced carcasses. You are better off to buy the carcasses instead so that the dog has the benefit of chewing.
  4. I have found Supercoat to be the best in the market for dog biscuits (other than the boutique brands (like Eukanuba) that I can't afford.
  5. The good thing about Ivomec is that it will cover your boy for fleas, ticks & heartworm as well.
  6. We spend about $120 a week for 8 dogs (ie: $15.00 per dog) Mince Meat : $27.50 Bones: $11.50 Biscuits: $37.00 Chicken Carcases $12.00 Eggs: $ 4.00 Pigs Ears: $12.00 Other Treats $16.00 I hope this helps.
  7. Hi Cairo The other option is Cartrophen injections. They are often more effective on German Shepherds that Metacam and your vet should be able to teach you to give them yourself. It is a very hard decision to make and remember, that when the time comes, he will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge.
  8. Innotek manufactures three types of these collars. The "invisible" fence, the anti-bark-collar and the training collar. I believe that used properly, they are all helpful and harmless to the dogs. The problem is if these collars fall in the wrong hands. There is also some dispute as to whether they are illegal to use in some states and territories duie to the Animal Welfare Act, which losely talks about "electrical devices" being illegal.
