Verdict is in...... and church is on main register and very much show quality!! All papers signed and given to dogs nsw (we held the meeting out the front of their office so either way it was settled today)

Update after much arguing we've agreed to allow a third party to assess church and we will go with their decision. If the third party decides church is to standard she will main register if the third person decides he's not to standard he will be limit registered with a partial refund

I have several emails and messages with me asking for mains. she only does puppy contracts which I signed that says limit but I have her message saying she agrees to mains. in one of her messages she says I was going mains but she changed her mind. His neck wasnt an issue at 8 weeks and I get he was sold as show potential no gaurentee of winning but if he was registered when he was ment to be it wouldnt have been an issue

Update after threatening legal action the breeder came through but is now saying church Isn't good enough to be on mains register so has put him on limited :/ his main flaw is that his neck is a touch short but it cam be hidden with careful grooming and blending The breeder admitted shes mad at me because I saw the sires owner in an attempt to hurry the papers along whom shes has issues with (he maintains she didnt pay stud fee she says she did its a total dog fight)im not sure what I can do now... I understand she has to Protect her prefix his fault is minor and wont bring disgrace to her kennel... if he was registered when he was ment to be it Wouldn't have been an issue... I dont know what to do

Ive known a dog who howled for days after his owners death. She certainly knew of her owners death and she mourned for a long time after didnt eat ive also knew a dog whos elderly owner died and he ate her (it was a few days before her body was found). Dont think he cared.

Church my puppy has been digging (yes I let him dig in one corner of the garden). He's eyes are all red I flushed them as best I could with water and human eye wash but they look really irritated. I will take him to the vet tomorrow but what can I do in the mean time ?

Contacted dogsnsw gave them all emails copies of emails, text messages phone call lists and recipt of purchase several of which mention him being on mains and her agreance to him being on mains. they said leave it with them they will look into it investigate and get back to me within a week will keep you updated

I was planning on showing him as a neuter to but its easier to get a championship as a entire

He will be desexed when hes older yes which is why I wanted to show him now

Even if he cant be mains registered id keep church but I did specifically buy him with the intention of showing hence why the papers are important. As well as I paid extra for him to have him on the mains register he came from a litter of 13 and I belive the rest were just going to pet homes. I spoke the the owner of the stud dog lovely guy and lives close by! He said that the lady who owned tje bitch gave him a blank service dog form meaning she can fill in any bitchs details he refused to sign until she wrote in the bitches details and pay the money for the stud fee which is fair enough he has since (5 sept faxed) made contact with dogs nsw and sent in his half of the paperwork (stud cert) the breeder is no longer retyring my calls or emails... spoke to dogs nsw they said to send them and email with evidence (ie other emails sales recipt ect) so they can investigate.

I bought my flat coated retriever puppy church six months ago on main register. I picked him up at 8 weeks and the breeder said the papers should arrive in a couple of weeks at my address. I planned on showing church so need his papers. Two months later I contact the breeder saying papers hadnt arrived she said she paid another dog for use of their stud and now they were refusing to sign papers cause she hadnt paid for the service fee and it was all a misunderstanding she will sort out. One month later follow up again same story. Followed up again still being dragged on. is there someone I can put this to like an ombudsman? I paid a lot of money for this puppy as a show dog but he's just a pet with out those papers what are my options here ? I dont want to get rid of church and we will still compete in agility and nose work

I have a lab x who sheds like crazy at least twice a week I groom and my new puppy a flat coated retriever, I vacuum every day to keep on top of it, its only bad cause we have white (and I mean snow white) carpets and two black dogs shedding wasn't on the priority list when looking for a dog but coat length/ daily management was (couldn't handle a collie or something that needed daily brushing)

our yards is a fortress, we use leashes and all precautions will be taken but accidents happen and im not willing to leave him entire

im in no rush to get him done, ive had older dogs that where desexed later in life (8 years plus) so I have experience training boy problems out. he is a lovely dog with great bloodlines from imported Swedish blood great conformation and temperament but I have no interest in breeding on any level so no babies ever for him, church is just a family pet who dabbles in agility and nose work. im more curious about things like cancer rates being lower in vasectomy dogs compared to full neutered, his health matters more than anything.

I have a four month old flat coated retriever boy, church is my first puppy as all of my dogs have been pound mongrels who came desexed,, Church ive had since eight weeks and plan on getting him neutered during my research ive discovered that doing a vasectomy is more beneficial as its less invasive surgery and they maintain the benefit of better balanced hormones, just wondering if anyone here has had it done, how did it go any problems arise ect? and a photo of church at 8 weeks... no they have said what i plan is cruel and that i basiclly dont care about the dog that is an attack

I came here to ask about Borzoi in comparison to Irish wolfhounds personality as in my orginal post instead I've been attacked I've spoken to several breeders and gained there support I've spoken to my club and the instructors gained there support yes I will be doing agility with my wolfie if he dosnt like it we will change I never said anything about forcing them to do it nor do I have an ego agility is about communication and partnership which is what I wanted to do How to I ask admin to remove posts
