It's a canon eos 1000d!
Can't wait to get it home & play.

Its week 6. Early / right on time unless Im mixed up. I've got a baby still living on NZ time - its like living all the bad aspects of daylight savings by choice!
Snd nope. I'm still on the phone until later in the month. Looking forward to it!!!

And with that - I'm off on holiday. I'll be around but might not be around. At least there will be photos not taken from my couch. I also pick up my new (to me) camera.
See you all soon!

I recommend Tapua Labradors... Pauline and Pete do an amazing job... you won't get a better Lab in my opinion.

Yup. They look amazing. They'd be my first choice for a lab

Could they ask the breeder to advertise on their behalf and screen the buyers for them? To advertise here they would have to be breeders.
I wondered similar.

Treatment is available for canine cognitive dysfunction so if your vet is unaware - see someone who is.

i personally wouldn't give my dog to some random i met over the internet. can you not put the dog in kennels?
It wouldn'tbe my first choice -but if family wasn't an option and I was looking at potential long term kennels I'd consider it.
I'd be doing my checks - it certainly wouldn't be totally random.
Tough situation to be in :/

Hi Lydia,
A lot depends on what kind of dog it is, age, care level required & how long you might think the process will take.
I can see from your profile you're in SA-and there are a few members here who are more local & might have suggestions.
But, if it was me, and a family member wasnt an option, I'd be looking for someone -maybe through a local Facebook group as a starting point. Alternatively a paid pet sitter might be an option.

Great photos everyone. Love the little chubby arm next to the well loved toy. How wonderful you keep it to share the love!
Between us - I never intended to share him! He's almost the only thing I have left from my childhood & being well over 30 I was a bit hesitant to let him go another round.
But - Georgie just lights up when he sees him. It's just the sweetest thing -so how could I possibly refuse?

I've taken the ultimate snake cure: I've moved to New Zealand. I still have that residual gut fear reaction every time I see a snakie-looking branch or bit of hose in the grass.
Yes! I still get jeebies when I walk through snake areas.

Oh. I love when succulents bloom.
My parents have a cactus which took about 20 years to flower. They nearly wet their pants when it did!

They leave such a huge hole in our hearts & homes. Especially the high maintenance /special needs pooches.
Big hugs to your family RMS. I hope she has a nice day with her family.
