Well how is a male dog meant to get testicular cancer if he doesnt have any testicles. Same goes for a bitch with ovarian or uterine cancer. Exactly ..... You can't get cancer of something you don't have. (or does lovemesideways know something we dont?)

This is partially true. Desexing a dog or bitch will remove the chance of them getting some types of cancers and diminish the chance of getting some other types of cancer. i.e a desexed dog WILL NOT get cancer of the testicles.

Could you elaborate? Well it's a scientific fact that dog's are carnivores! Dogs have teeth and digestive systems almost incapable of digesting or absorbing nutrients from vegetation or grain. (omnivores?) And their DNA is 99.8% identical to wolves, which are carnivores. Dogs can and do eat vegetable matter. just look at the main ingredients listed on dry food packets. In most cases the first and main ingrediant is cereal or grain. I have always fed my dogs vegetables as part of their diet and they have all lived to ripe old ages.

Hi BF, Where did you get those amazing pics from? I would love to be able to take my girls on the bike with me. but Victorian laws says they must be even better protected than me. the thing I really dont like is the requirement for them to be harnessed to the bike. Restrained for protection is Ok but the restraints need to be breakaways. Not like seatbelts in a car. Unlike a car where you are better off being restrained in your seat and letting the car absorb the impact a bike rider will take the FULL impact and force. The only way for a rider to disipate this deadly energy is to be able to roll free and hopefully burn some of these forces off before the final stop. Hey like they say "A fall has never killed anyone. .... It is just the sudden stop at the end"

You could try Peter the Possum Man. They gaurantee their work. They will come out and inspect your home, seal up the possum's entry point and any other entry points they find. They will then set a oneway trapdoor. To allow the possum/s to exit but not return. After a few days they will return to remove the trapdoor. As others have said you are not allowed to remove a possum more than 50 feet from it's current home, which at the moment is your ceiling and even if you did then others are likely to move in to replace them. So trapping alone will not work. You need to stop them being able to regain access after they have been removed. Oh and they hate being evicted and can be very determined to get back in again. All this can be done from outside and during normal daytime work hours

If your a handy person you can get the possums out of your roof and walls yourself. First seal off all entry points the possums are or might be able to use with a piece sheet metal. You need to seal off any and all possible enty points. They can be very determined to get back in. Important. You will need to provide an exit point for them. If you have a tiled roof this is easily done by sliding a tile back just before dusk to let them out and closing it later in the night before they return. You will need to do this over several days to be sure tht they have all left. It also helps to place some tempting apple pieces out for thm to encourage them to come out. Hope this helps
