  1. We use VIP at work for the FUSSY eaters! Its the only thing we can get some of them to eat!

Yep me too when a days starve doesn't work I'll bring out the VIP always works a treat. There is another Ecopet I found it a bit better but as long as it works.....Go for it. :banghead: Mine are on a combination of dry and raw with other foods.

  2. I used EPO for my girl when she went through a fear period,I used 1000 mg tabs 4 times a day.Just squirt the tab into food and mix. I would try her on a smaller dose then a Rott.One/two tab per day for 1 month,if no Improvement use it longer, you need to use it for a few weeks before it takes effect.

It calmed my girl and now she is as confident and bright as any other well adjusted dog. Health food stores and places like Safeway/Coles/Chemists etc always carry it.It brightens up a dull coat too.It is a bit of a jack of all trades tab.For us humans and dogs alike.

    Hope it helps.

It is commonly used for the relief of PMT, arthritic pain, stress etc In human women. It can adjust moods too.

  3. Try some Evening primrose oil for a couple of months and see if any changes to her temperament, she may become more relaxed in her environment and thus become friendlier, she might need some time out of the show ring to do some basic obedience one on one with her owner till she is well behaved to bring back out into the public then some obedience classes with other people/dogs and maybe some shows....

  4. Thanks everyone, I am just glad that I have been able to do this. For a while there I did think about sending her to boot camp for dogs and take the easy way out. But it is so much more satisfying to be able to have done this myself, with help from Erny and the RVC of course.

OK - I know those photos don't exactly show how strong she is but Erny can vouch for that. But they do show the lovely gentle side of her... :D

Maddy is only 10 months old and at 38 kg already.

  5. Probably been said already a dozen times.....but a training tool is only effective if that dog responds to that particular correction and what works for some may not for others.A Prong collar should be available just like the check chain, Head Halter,Harness etc etc.........All are training devices with there own + and -

All training devices are s*it if they are used in the wrong hands.E- collars attract much emotion.Yet it seems more people are ok with these.....

    Me personally whatever works.........
