  1. Only just saw this thread, Loving all the puppies, so cute and cuddly. So nice to see so many different ones. Well here is my little one - she is so cheeky, already barks to come in from her toilet breaks. The other dogs love her. Name: Prada - aka Baylock Kara Kara Sex: Female DOB: 25th May, 2008 Age: 12 weeks Colour: Tan & White Breed: Jack Russell Terrier (or Terror, lol) Hobbies: Sleeping, eating, playing outside with my other jrts and one pug. Loves: Bannana yoghurt drops & doggy chocs, squeaky toys, pug tails & ears and sleeping in my bed :D Hates: getting her nails cut and being told to come in out of the rain, lol.
  2. Thanks Danois - haven't heard of Canine Country Barf either, do you get that from the same place? Will let mum know about the price of Orijen. I know that our dogs wolfed it down without a worry.
  3. I was going to put a post up about Orijen dog food, only because I hadn't heard of it before - our dogs are fed Eagle Pack as well. I got a sample pack and had been feeding it to two of the jacks and like it has already been said - better results in the "poo" department . Will get mum to check out the prices as well. What do you guys pay for your Orijen? if you don't mind me asking :D
  4. Dad want to say thanks for the information. Aranyoz, the pointer is 2yrs old and has a fitness regeme, dad walks him a couple of kilometres every couple of nights and on the other nights he runs in an oval that has fencing where he retrieves a dummy from a distance. He also is taken to a nearby fields for training. Like you said about the GSP, he is one very keen boy and just doesn't know when to stop , which will probably come with experience  He is one of those dogs that is just full on in whatever he does. Thank you Shmoo - will check out that as well. by the way, love the avatar shmoo.
  5. thank you everyone for getting back so fast to me. I will give dad the information and mum will more than likely go get some of the Neutradex for Buck and check out the other things you all have recommended. Twogrs I'm glad you don't have anything better to do,lol  it gives us a starting point.
  6. I was hoping that someone can help my dad and his pointer Buck. When dad takes Buck out to the field for training he tends to work very hard and when he comes home his urine is quite dark almost like blood, even though he is given plenty of water during the training and he is a not stressed or upset by the work. Dad was told by a greyhound breeder that they would normally give their dogs a product called Nutradex?? What my dad would like to know is there other products that can help and does anyone know anything about "Nutradex" (not sure if that is the right spelling). Any help would be great.
  7. So sorry for your loss SB, I like to check into the Pug thread and saw a post about you losing your boy, I am shattered that he has gone from your loving arms. Can't believe that it has happened. RIP little man Will miss his cheeky photos and stories.
  8. Just checked to see how Tango was going, poor little darling man. He'll be okay, the hardest part is watching them have their fit and not being able to do anything at that time. Our brittany has epilisy too "(, though she doesn't have meds at this stage because she only fits a couple of times a year. Sounds like you have it all sorted out ") Big hugs to you both.
  9. have to agree with what some of you are saying about Great Barko or Barko, whichever one it was my dad bought home after winning some at a raffle, thank goodness it was a small bag, cause all I can say is that there is an awful lot of cleaning up to do - mum has mixed it with Nutro (their normal kibble) so hopefully that will fix our dogs soon.
  10. Oh TD, just saw this topic - what a worry for you - but glad to hear that he is doing better. Give him a big hug from mum and me and a sloppy lick from Buck his bouncing friend
  11. have to agree - Supercoat does cause loose poop and a lot of, and I own JRTs, mum also found that it was the same for the puppy pointer too. So now our dogs are on either Eaglepack (when you can get it) or now trying Nutro (after reading the good reviews), much better now ChEeKy AnGeL
  12. I have done earthdog with my Jack Russell Terrier, and he got his Novice Title just before he passed away, he was 10 years old He loved it, it gives the dogs something else to do - not just showing, plus I also take mine racing as well, not that I have been for a while. When there is racing, if you go early and let the Secretary know a day or so before, they will set up the "earthdog" burrows for training. I'm hoping to get back into it soon. They are looking to increase the number of trials in Victoria. A great bunch of people. ChEeKy AnGeL
  13. Oh Sheltielover I know what you are going through, my family are going through it too, we are waiting for our Britt to be bought back to us as well. It will be hard to see him again, and I know that we will all be upset all over again, but as WendyH says, it's the memories of our darlings that will keep us together, our memories of Britt will pull us through and keep our hearts warmed with him. The best thing is to always remember them. ChEeKy AnGeL
  14. My heart goes out to you Purple Julie at this time. RIP Connor, have fun over the "bridge". without pain. ChEeKy AnGeL
  15. We cried at your loving words and thoughts from everyone and want to say thank you. The picture of him was only taken a few days ago, and it does show his love like you said Fifi. Have to agree with your sheltielover, time does heal, but my mum's heart will never be the same, she will always miss him. ChEeKy AnGeL
  16. RIP BRITT, Today has been very hard for all of my family. My mum's heartdog went to today. Britt aka Ch. Tobenlee Rebel Rouser was nearly 13yrs, we grew up with him always beside us, making sure we didn't get up to any mischeif. Over the last month just before Xmas he had been sick and mum had to make the sad decision of letting him go. We will miss you with all our hearts, watch over us from and keep us all out of mischief Britt ;) ChEeKy AnGeL
  17. CassandBel, welcome to DOL. It is a great place to learn from. I feel for you in this upsetting time. Don't feel guilty about what you have done, you had tried your best with your girls. Unfortunately it wasn't to be. Mi Mi has a great life with you, but sometimes things happen. Shelb will also be missing Mi Mi and all i can say is love her with everything you have. I'm sure that Mi Mi will always love you and will wait for you at the My mum is at the same crossroad as you, not because of fighting but because our older dog (12yrs) is not well, and he is her "heartdog" and there is nothing that can be done for him, so on Wednesday we will be saying goodbye to him, we all know its for the best even though it will be hard.
