  1. Thankyou for the kind offer Andrea but we have managed to place the kitens in a caring home. Thankyou to everyone that has offered their assistance and support.
  2. Also, an article from early last year has a different email and phone number to the usual one on FB and Pet Rescue, so the other number might belong to someone else that can assist. http://www.lithgowme...a-helping-hand/ This number at this stage does belong to Rachelle as I had my husband use this to contact her and she has not returned any of my calls to her mobile, texts or emails to her email address. Her partner is screening her calls on her mobile and I am assuming from abusive carers that want answers as to why they have been dumped with their charges and no help from this woman what so ever. She has gone underground. If she does happen to read this site and the comments I have just this to say. We live in the same town and you can't hide forever. I will be contacting the Lithgow Mercury and the council on Monday re: Rachelle and her so called rescue operation. She has left me with 3 Kittens that are pretty close to feral that constantly chase and dominate my own cats to the point that they hide constantly. I am unable to keep these cats permanently for this reason. I have been trying to find these guys a permanent home since 7th January with no luck what so ever.
  3. This lady has closed her facebook pages and her personal pages and is not contactable by mobile phone or email or is refusing to respond. She has dumped me with 3 undesexed kittens and no contact since 7th January 2013. I have exhausted emails and mobile contacts. I thought I was doing the right thing and becoming a carer but I'm afraid after my experience with Rachelle she has tainted any further experiences in being a carer. Frustrated and furious.
  4. DagBoy, Been there and dont that with my other half. He couldn't walk for a week after coming jogging with me for the first time in ages for him. Just as well he was on holidays. My advice to you is to start off slowly and build up gradually. If its been a while since undertaking anyhting fitness like try walking first and then build up to a slow jog and from there anything is possible.
  5. Hi DagBoy, I was also thinking the same thing about the Endurance title by running rather than biking. I already run several times a day (10km morning and 6 afternoon) which is uphill as well as down and also flat surfaces as well. I am however concentrating on getting my times down and the dogs fit. I run with two Weimaraners (one on each side) and haven't been tripped up yet (touch wood). Let's know how you go?
