  8. Agree with this!! Even to the point of a bit of possessiveness and protection towards Roo and Jelly from some of us :) Thanks for choosing to keep updating this thread :) I LOVE the photo of Roo with her friend in the background! The way she is sitting up close, and that expression as if to say, there is nothing to see in the background!! Look at me! It's all about ME! Look here i am!!
  9. I just read the dosage and it says 1 heaped teaspoon (5g) per 100g of fresh or canned food. That would come to similar amounts as k9young at heart? If feeding 1kg of raw food thats 10 (50g) teaspoons of the super boost.
  10. Jellyblush sorry to read this Can i suggest that for a given period of time, say 4 weeks you do EXACTLY as Nekhbet tells you and ONLY as Nekhbet tells you :) I know how hard it is to want to follow a bit of everyone's advice, i know the vet behaviourist has good recommendations and high qualifications but at the end of the day those methods haven't worked From what i have seen Nekhbet's methods so far have proven to be most successful when not mixed with other methods. Not to say there won't be set backs doing what she tells you, but there is a method to her madness and she will be able to advice you on how to overcome the hurdles as they happen :) An example that always sticks with me is one that an instructor gave me years ago. If i was to give you $20 every time you clapped, then suddenly stop giving you $20 every time you clapped, you would clap louder, you jump up and down clapping in my face, try all sorts of variations of clapping to get your $20 ... eventually you would realise that clapping no longer gets you the $20 so you would give up on clapping :) I understand that Roo's behaviour is different to my clapping example and i understand how traumatic it is for you to see her hurting herself so much, but I just think if you give Nekhbet's methods exclusive trial, you have nothing to lose, considering the vet behaviourist has said its the end of the road in their opinion I sincerely wish you all the best and you have my total admiration for giving your heart and soul to Roo, you really are a rare species Jellyblush :)
  11. Hey Jellyblush hoping things are going well with you and Roo :)
  12. That is fantastic that it is Artemis's policy! It shows the type of ethics they uphold as a company! But also that way distributors can't do what they want in that regard!
  13. RosiesMum, Not sure where in VIC you are but ISISS here makes raw food that has it all in there, muscle meat, minced bones, veggies, offal etc etc.... She delivers the food to most areas and has a few different varieties like beef, chicken etc... For me it's a lot cheaper to buy it off her, She does it cheaper than i can get the raw ingredients! She also uses all human grade foods. I feed half their days worth of food with her mix, the other half raw meaty bones. I guess for a smaller dog, you could feed the mix one day and raw meaty bone the next day to get the benefits of feeding the bones for their teeth, jaws etc..? Here is a link to her profile on here, not sure how often she gets here but if you are interested I can sms her and tell her to contact you :) ooops sorry i forgot to add the actual link in there! http://www.dolforums.com.au/user/7788-isiss/

  16. http://www.southcathedralfarm.com/html/s01_home/home.asp We spent the weekend here and it was stunning!! Not many of the luxurious places allow dogs so it was just awesome to be able to take both Rottweilers with us! The people in the other cottage had what looked like 2 Schipperkes :D The hosts were very welcoming, breakfasts provisions were generous in both quantity and variety. The dogs had a swim in the dam and a run around on the property. We took our doggy dryer so they would be dry going back inside. We had a big hike to keppel lookout, the dogs coped fine, we worked hard  Came "home" and had a spa, one of those cool effective bath like spas, not those big triangle things where you have to move around to feel the jets! Loved this place and will be going back, hopefully in the winter so we can use the open fire :D It's also nice to support the community after the Black Saturday Tragedy, mind you these guys work hard to provide a 5 star accommodation! Would recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, romantic type getaway, without having to leave the dogs behind! Well for those of you like me who tend to miss the dogs and wonder how they are going :p
  17. Vicky & Vigor, where did you get the green tripe from in melbourne?
  18. i got a sample for the cat, haven't tried him on it yet. He is a fussy cat and tends to only really eat Royal Canin! Or will eat new foods for 1 or 2 meals then not be impressed anymore
