Hi,

just wondering if anyone has any ideas on the best way to introduce a 9 week old pup to our 11 month old puppy? They are both from a large breed. The 11 month old has a great temperament, but is very strong.

When introducing dogs, I take them onto neutral territory, on lead, let them sniff etc, and when they seem fine with each other, take them into the yard/house ?? and let them off. With pups you could probably do this in your yard or house with no problems.

They should be fine Yes, the 11month old will be stronger, so just monitor their playing etc, the other one will soon catch up and hold it's own

Thanks for your advice.

We have organised a different kennel for the little one to stay in and get it's rest/sleep for growing during the day. Will not let them play together unless we are monitoring them. Hopefully the older one wont teach the little one its one bad habit - grabbing the washing off the line.
