So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up. The nose twitches! The ears are up. The eyes are staring. And this one suddenly runs from the group. You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her into your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated. labsrule Posted July 25, 2009 Share Posted July 25, 2009 Mercedes, I am so terribly saddened to read of the loss of your darling Cassie She was only a baby such an awful tragedy and my heart goes out you and your hubby . I know you must be devastated and missing her dreadfully and are probably still in shock from her unexpected and sudden loss :D . RIP Cassie and run free at with all the other labbies - hopefully you will get to meet my beautiful Cassie (my beloved black lab girl) and she can show you around.
