New Ch Title

Can someone help me out here.

I have a 10 month old here sitting on 153 points and I have been advised by a number of people that with the new rules I can apply for his Ch. title.

However some people are telling me that it's only after the 1st of Jan 2012 and I will need one CC after that date to claim. Now I know this is true for the supreme but I can't find anything stating this is the case for the CH.

I'm in NSW if that makes any difference.

So far I have tried calling the club but am yet to get to anyone who actually knows.....

I read somewhere that is was effective immediately for Ch's.

The reverted "Grand" is 1.1.2012

The new "Supreme" is 1.7.2012 (and you need to win another CC if you already have the other qualifications)

I have made enquiries in regard this question and have been told that if you are in NSW, until this clause is amended in the Dogs NSW Regulations, the original clause is still in place. The amended clause will be put before the Dogs NSW Directors meeting on Wednesday, 14th December and Champion titles can be applied for under the new clause after that date.

Hope this helps...

Well then it must depend on who you speak to because I sent Rosie's papers in last week and her title was back within 3 days.... unde the new rules not the old... she was only about 8 points short of the magic 25 but had over 130 in total.

And DogsQld have issued a statement saying the will accept them immediately

I actually went down to DogsNSW last week and expressed processed it. They accepted it and counted her pts up till sept when she over 100pts at 9mths. She has just turned 12mths 2 weeks ago.

Exactly - back to the old system and immediately --- not January 1...
