DobieMum Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 After Christmas we will be moving from Brisbane to Townsville and want to cut the drive in half and stay overnight. Rocky is about halfway but I don't mind driving a bit more. After somewhere we can camp. We'll have two cars (one with dog trailer) Two adults, 2 kids (10 and 8) and 2 pups that are used to sleeping in crates and are quiet. Any recommendations? Hoping for some local knowledge, like can't find Lake Monduran on any web pages, but know it to be a great camp ground, it's too early for us to pull up in. I'm local but because I live here, I've never looked for accommodation. hahaha. These are great thanks Rachiie, but the kids are keen on camping, is there any camp sites around, google's not coming up with anything until Clairview and that's a bit far north for one trip.
