The last Westie I was asked to rescue out of Hawkesbury in Sydney became a Westie cross by the time he hit foster care. By the time he was on transport to SA he definitely became a terrier mix - by the time he reached me he was definitely a terrier mix - mainly silky if you ask me. Clever chameleon dog that!!! Seriously, I do Westie rescue here with two others (we share the load) on our own - there isn't any breed club here - but we cooperate with NSW, QLD and VIC. And yes we prefer to stick to purebred westies (it's what we know) - but the occasional mix slips through... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
