What brand and model would do the job? any advice about clipping bc's also would be appreciated I am sure. Thanks for the help. I have three short coated dogs so on this topic I am at a loss. denali Posted October 31, 2014 Share Posted October 31, 2014 I love the wahl km2 clippers. the salon recently upgraded to the supposedly 'better' KM5. But they're horrible- not as powerful and slower. Can't go past a km2 :) He could check out gumtree for a cheaper second hand set too. There is no point wasting money on cheap clippers as they will simply not cut it. I am assuming he wants them short? Most BC's in the salon are done with a 7 blade. a 5 is slightly longer but still short.
