owned-by-kyla-and-jinks Posted January 31, 2007 Share Posted January 31, 2007 Hello all, We are new members, we have one 6 month old female Staffy (Kyla) and one 10 week old male staffy (Jinks) We took Kyla to a puppy preschool but werent heaps happy with it, the nurse who ran it really had no idea whatsoever. The only training that she knew of was telling a dog "NO" in this big nasty voice when it did something wrong - she had no idea whatsoever about anything else - she actually advocated choker leads as a training method which we are dead against, i think rewards based training works much better. anyway, we were wondering whether anybody knows of any good puppy preschools in adelaide? i'm not fussed as much on the training because we will be taking jinks to an obedience class when he is older anyway, i'm mostly concerned about socialisation with other dogs & other humans, but i would prefer that the nurse wasnt yelling at a dog every 2 minutes!!! will post some pickies soon once we've figured out the site thanks everybody!!! tim & sarah Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
