we finished up with 7 boys and 4 girls all wonderful weights for the size of the litter! all healthy and feeding really well, Sienna is a fantastic mum I never have many boys so really happy to get 7, the mix is just right for my puppy buyers pics later

we have some puppies, started at 6.15 pm girl 6.35 boy 8.05 boy 8.10 boy 9.15 boy so far 4 boys 1 girl, all fantastic weights 300 up to 400 !!! its now 11.25 so over two hours since last delivery, she looks comfortable not straining, should I be worried at all? or just wait until she is ready, grateful for some advice....thanks eta think lack of sleep is making me worry for nothing we have another boy at 12.05 only 5 more to go

no nothing.....I stayed awake all night, sure things would happen, she was very restless but nu! Hopefully have puppies by tea time

Bokezu how is your girl today?? everything going well here Firestone she is resting now after a restless day, no eating, she has done a little digging and making herself comfortable, oh and we had the temp drop this morning, think it will be a long night tonight...

CONGRATULATIONS!!! now 8 is a perfect sized litter IMO... just right, not too big not too small and just enough for mum to handle

I've spoken to my vet and she says not to worry obviously a false alarm. Just wish I hadn't stayed up all night How are things Zensu? hope everything is ok

Think its going to be a long night for me too :D my girl is in first stage so prob nothing happening for a while

I was working on the computer in the dark, stood up from the computer to walk out to the kitchen not realising there was a dog right next to my feet, I tripped and fell hard landing on my elbow..ouch...one broken arm, six weeks off work. Various other injuries but that was the worst by far.

6 Vizslas here, we feed RAW and also Advance dry. We buy in bulk chicken, lamb, beef and offal etc We go for a long time with no vet bills then Wham we have heaps all at once, can be very expensive when you add in hip x-rays etc.. We have acreage so I run the dogs daily for around an hour, they also race around by themselves when I'm home, if I'm working two are in runs and four inside, they sleep and don't cause any problems. Sleeping arrangements vary, we have a roster system for our bed as 6 is just too many!! We have two sometimes three on the bed and the others are on their own couch or in crates with the doors open, works well but deciding who is coming up to bed at night is a pain as they all want to come, we then get the early morning whingers outside the door wanting to come in for a cuddle before we get up.......its great

Found some notes I have been collecting over the last couple of years since my last litter. It says Sandoz liquid calcium 10 mls every hour after first pup.....does this sound right? Please breeders tell me what is best when it comes to calcium, previously I just gave good quality vanilla ice cream to the bitch between pups and everything was fine.

I also think people that breed specifically for pet homes, don't care about having their dogs judged against others of the breed and don't really know a lot about the standard. Just breeding because they can, and because there is a huge pet market out there....They are not breeding for the betterment of the breed in my opinion

sooooo excited right now, but a bit anxious...only had 6 and 7 before...keep imagining what it will be like with 11 six week old ferals!!!!! aaahhh
