  1. Yay Well done Zinger Congratulations Showdog :D
  2. Big hugs to you and Scoota, Ptolomy Lots and lots of healing vibes going his way. Off to go look up how a dog can get hepatitis now...
  3. Don't think so? The WDC show is on Sat 30th ;) ETA: Shows how much I know... yes there is
  4. Both pups need to be show potential girls ;)
  5. Lots more healing vibes going Scoota's way this morning... although hopefully he is all better already ;) Healing vibes also going to Trixie since Amypie is a mean mother I just heard that our co-owned girl in Qld has come into season and they are thinking of breeding her now rather than waiting until next year Which means that we could end up with two puppies this year! At least this time the Lappy puppy will definitely be living with Mum and Dad
  6. ST, she is looking lots more preggers now 3 weeks to go Ptolomy, do they have any idea why he is off colour? Or are the bloods just a general thing to see if anything is picked up? Lots of healing vibes going his way
  7. RIP Miss Kitty Well done those who passed their obedience tests What a great order WX... what % of puppies are you expecting to be coated? You can't show the coated ones can you? I won't be at training tonight And I was looking forward to having a go on the Novice Jumping course with Banjo
  8. RIP Hurcules Assuming he was in the show ring he is a red/tan... chocolate/tan is not acceptable in the standard. I haven't seen him since the Classic so it will be interesting to see how he has grown at the show in a fortnight
  9. New rules for Agility and Games have been release Although it probably would have helped to read the Games rules earlier... the judge at the Western Classic did an invalid Gamble for the Novice dogs - you aren't allowed to have and A-frame in the Gamble until Excellent under the current rules, and not until Masters under the new rules So it wasn't just the angles which were bad for Novice dogs Oh well, it was fun anyway ;)
  10. Thanks. My mum wants to go and check out some group 6 dogs... so if anyone knows if we might see some of them at the K9 tonight that would be great Group 6 is on tonight ;) Split into 2 rings (I had my Canine News at work to do some entries and haven't gotten around to taking it home yet ) ETA: Group 1 and 2 are the other groups on tonight
  11. ME!!!!! Banjo will be there as well And Arlo :D ST, I agree, tummy has a long way to go She doesn't look very impressed having photos of her fat belly taken either
  12. Last weekend was the first show for Arlo and his "Mum". Arlo is one of the pups from our last litter - he is now 20 months old I also had time last Saturday since I was at home
  13. Yay, go Brooky! And Bedazzled of course I guess that means he is no longer going cheap? How did Cider go?
  14. There will be at least one "pro" photographer there as well RS Um, I baked cookies last weekend (ultimate choc chip and white choc & macadamia) don't know if I can be bothered doing anything this weekend Hmm, will see how I go given I am also working this Friday which makes it hard...
  15. I think J is already planning on being a sneaky bugger
  16. I am fairly sure J is planning on getting there early to set up a cabana We are happy for anyone to join us And I am glad someone had a good night at training on Tuesday - am currently wondering whether to give Southern River a go although it isn't as good a day for me work wise...
  17. No, it says excluding the John George Walk Trail in Viveash... that isn't the reserve just the track next to the river as far as I can figure out
  18. Hi Holly's mum if you turn into viveash where la salle is and go down to the river, it isn't technically off leash but as long as your dogs are not bothering anyone everyone does it, they can swim run through the grass and you can walk for ages at the reserve, must do the right thing and pick up after dogs i go with my three rottis they love it. other than that there are not really anywhere they can go. there is near the old govenor stirling school agian its a reserve and you can walk for ages again not technically off leash and tends to be more people not neccessarily dogs here depneding on time of day hope this helps List of areas you can't take your dog to in the City of Swan http://www.swan.wa.gov.au/Residents/Animal.../Exercise_Areas. Unless signed otherwise you can have dogs offlead on all reserves as long as you have effective control of your dog It is being rebuilt as it is falling down Naughty Scoota and Brooky... did they fail the same exercise? Unfortunately I can't have any more male dogs... will put my hand up in advance for Cider if she is up for offer though
  19. Thanks guys ;) We were stoked with Arlo.. although I need to start teaching his owner how to show him - she has been doing well with the "homework" she has been given so I don't think she will have too much of an issue RV, poor Toby ;) Hopefully he is feeling better quickly Good luck to Ptolomy and Bedazzled for their trip to Sydney Ptolomy, how many red dogs are you taking?
  20. Happy belated Birthday to Mason :p Well done to Kelari and Chandra ;) I took one of the pups we bred (now 20 months old) into the ring for his first show today :D Arlo managed to get stung by a bee on his top lip just before we went into the ring :D But I got the sting out and he seemed ok :D Judge was great as well - I told him what had happened and he only did a quick teeth check not making an issue of it Arlo was a star and took out Dog CC and then an 11 point Best of Breed Each time into the ring I asked a little bit more of him in terms of stacking and he was great by the end even standing still while I held the tail over his back - definitely not his favourite thing I think we have his owner hooked too... she gets married the Sunday of the Royal and has decided that they will leave on their honeymoon on the Thursday after since Group 5 is judges on the Wednesday ;)
  21. There seem to be a lot of trials coming up with the same judge doing the same classes one after the other.

  23. We have 8 ponds full of fish Several thousand or so LOL. And only 1 goldfish now as our second last one died on the weekend I think Dad is planning on getting two more though... our current goldfish weigh a few kilos
  24. The first time I went away for a little while my Kelpie snubbed me completely when I got home. Absolutely refused to come and say hello ;) :D But then I fixed her... started making a big fuss of our other dog and she soon realised that she was missing out :p
