I bought her for a good cause No really, I did There was an auction run by the Arabian Horse Society to raise funds for the Qld Flood victims. Mainly stallion services and gear but a few people had donated horses as well to auction off. I had been looking for a purebred arabian filly for a while but was looking for a yearling and preferably a bay... Fast forward and this little girl was donated to the auction by a breeder in WA. She is a 2yo Straight Egyption filly - and grey. But 2 days before the auction ended noone had bid on her. And, well, it was for a good cause ;) Her breeder drove 3 hours to drop her off for me - and then had to drive another 3 hours home! And all they got in return was a cup of tea and some Anzac biscuits!

I hope your feeling better soon. The other dentist I rang couldn't fit me in until late Thursday evening Tomorrow pm is ok for me coz I can't do morning anyway. Definitely not going to training now either.

When I started looking at Finnish Lapphunds oh so many years ago now I sent an email to a breeder to find out more about the breed as soon as I saw there was a breeder in Australia. I was about to start Honours at Uni so didn't want a dog until the end of the year but a year is certainly not too early to start asking as who knows when they would have litters available. Finnish Lapphund ;) Banjo is hard for anyone but me to handle as he is too much of a Mummy's boy :D

He is actually "easy" to handle but gets bored in the ring and doesn't like pricking his ears forward for the judge :D This has lost him wins on several occasions. Mum learnt to handle with him as it didn't matter if she stuffed up (which she would do from nerves) coz it wouldn't make any difference to Boots :D So the reason he frustrates more experienced handlers is coz he likes ignoring the handlers attempts to get him excited and yawn in the judge's face ;) Mum has only started getting frustrated with him after about 2 years of learning. ETA: I am fairly sure it is the Games night he is entered in. I only entered Banjo in the show on the Agility night.

I am giving all my money to the vet atm ;) I didn't know you were meant to save before getting a new puppy - I am just getting one ;)

RS, we have several show dogs available to teach you how to show ;) You can even show one at the Classic if you want (cause he is frustrating to those who know what to do ROFL)
