Adelaide Royal Schedule is out !
-
International flights yes to water, jetpets use one frozen and one normal.
-
No you can not send food.
-
I sent two dogs from Melb to Denmark last week with jetpets.
I supplied my own vari kennel.
They went Melb to Dubai, had a 22 hour stop over and were placed in a dog run for the stop over.
They were then crated up again and flew to Copenhagen.
From the time they left me 9.30am Wed, they arrived Sat 1am.
I dont think I could cope doing it again.

Wasn't the show always starting at 7:30? It's no different to the schedule.
Always 7.30am start

I can't believe it's March already, where has the time gone?
Westminster and Canberra Royal have already been and gone with Crufts
just around the corner !
Our cover features Jaidyn Walker and his pug 'Stunner" Obsidion Coup
D'état, photographed by Narelle Richardson.
Jaidyn is a promising Junior handler who has shown various breeds
before, Stunner is extra special to Jaidyn as he is the very first show
dog in his name.
We are always looking for articles on various dog sports if you are ever
interested in submitting one, we would love to have every sport covered
in our online magazine. Should you have any fundraising events, junior
handler, health talks, dog seminars, important dog legislation etc you
think the dog world needs to know about please let us know as we are
putting those things in the magazine for free.

Would suck to be a judge they can't do anything right these days...
Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

I would move this if you can to the Dane thread, this information will be useful to others who come in later.
-
Not all breeders are created the same regardless of if they are registered or not - it takes time and patience and open eyes to find a good breeder.
This is a BIG thing, research, research and research some more!
Visit shows, ask around, stalk breeders and ask questions of everyone !
-
Check out how many litters each breeder is having HERE
ooh wow interesting.
I wish there were more info like this available in such a fab format!
I would love to have it 100% up to date - sadly many don't submit litter listings to me and I don't have access to all the State canine gazettes to view the litter listings myself.
-
I had her tied near the puppy run after weaning for a week
She was only tethered near her pups for 1 week tops (AND only at night, she is free to roam through the day)
A crate perhaps ??

Dane Train will have the answers to all your questions and then some...
Dane Train?
It has been renamed but you have already posted in it LOL

So are you saying that I should take her for a 10 minute walk on concrete rather that 10 minutes of swimming and walking on sand?
I would be walking her on the nature strip/grass.
Sand and swimming takes more effort then regular walking.
Frozen Semen Who Has Had Success & Using Who?
in Breeders Community
Posted
Stuart Mason at Monash Vet (Melbourne) fabulous results with mt bitches and many others I know.
Semen is only one portion of a successful pregnancy, vet need to read prog results right, skill of the vet, timing etc.
A bitch with cysts in her uterus will not fall pregnant.
When was the last time an in-house blood work machine was calibrated?
Could be miles out as no one seems to calibrates them on a regular basis.
