I always measure top of ring to bottom of ring.

Only puppy in show at an all breeds or specialty.

(Used to only be all breeds)

Gumtree and pet link free to advertise it, use them

To promote events, puppies, specialty shows.

Each year I advertise our champ show, go to the people.

SELL your product to the people, Sell pedigree pups from registered breeders.

Also one huge advantage of DOL is that often the public searching here have generally researched a little more

Gumtree first, pups4sale second, trading post fourth and DOL 5th....

All very well to suggest to advertise everywhere - but advertising costs.

Obviously one breeder would not advertise everywhere, if 500 a year advertised in various places the public would SEE registered breeders are out there and so are options.

You are right it's not something you often see, registered breeds should advertise everywhere to promote pedigree dogs... Petlink, trading post, local paper etc.

Take pedigree dogs to the people, don't wait for them to come to you.

My other half is just getting a little over eager. (Which is great considering it took me ages to convince him we should get a dog! lol)

I would make no assumptions about the quality of the pups from the ad in the Trading Post.

Ask the questions you would ask of any breeder but clarify that the pups are ANKC registered before going any further.

Agreed, and more registered breeders SHOULD advertise in the trading post, let the public know there is such a thing as ANKC registered breeders.

Yeh they paid more to have their details private, so you can't tell who they are from that.

That is right, so we can guess and assume etc and know pretty much 99% it's them but we still have no real proof.

I managed to check my listing before the website was taken down, I don't believe all details came from DOL

as my phone number is not on DOL but it was on this website.

With that said the Affen details had to come from DOL as it is now where else.

I prefer a heat lamp as it also heats the air the puppies breathe in.

I no longer stock them.

Have you contacted the Dogs Victoria Pets as Therapy co-ordinator? the contact is on the website. I have 2 Dogs Victoria certified dogs and visit a local Nursing Home, the residents love having poodle visits. Berwick is a bit far for me to travel.

I agree, contact Nicky Abell - the dogs are covered by Insurance as they are Dogs Vic members.

Quite a few dogs passed last Thursday night.

I have two myself but sadly have no time at the moment.

No toys went through - bit hard when the GS judge was judging at the Toy show the next day...
