  9. HI, I've got the same problem in terms of I tend to bring xavier(staffy) more places with me..on walks,in the ute,to work..he gets to run off lead too in the parks because I can trust him to come back to me.Whereas my other boy(pittyX) well he isint so good with other dogs and I definetely can't let him off in a park, so sometimes I feel he misses out on alot.
  10. Just wondering any agility training clubs that would allow my piityX that has fear agression. He is in training and comming on leaps and bounds for his problems. I am now walking him with strange dogs without any dramas. I would be willing to muzzle him and wear a bright collar if neccesary. It would be sad to deny him as he is very athletic. He is extremely smart and picks up new tricks in seconds, he knows all the usual; speak, spin, pulling your sock off, trotting, over, under, say you prayers, turning on and off lights, opening and closing doors, touch, lets me know when phone rings even though i can hear it ha! Puts a tug ring over a stck in the garden e.c.t lately I made some jumps and weaves and I was shocked at how easy he took to it. I would love to go with him to some agility training.I'm hoping there are clubs near me, im living in sydney

  12. Ive had a similar problem with my dog. Firstly I bought a pinch colar which allowed me contol on the walk. When i mastered the walk, we moved on to longer walks to burn him out before i set up a meerting with another dog. Before I left the house i made sure i put him in a calm submissive state. I took him in one hand and got my friend to walk with me and pass his dog to me. So we are both moving forward together. If my dog looked at the other dog i'd correct with no and tug his pinch colar. My partner and I practice this every day and have been for approx 6 motnhs. My dog was attacked as a puppy and suffered fear agression as a result. All I can say is a dog can change but its not a quick thing. The biggest probem is having the patience to wait for results. I have suprised myself that what i have been doing has worked. There is still work to be done but he is now at a level were he can be walked with a strange dog without reacting. Reading ceasar millans book and watching him on t.v saved my dog. I was the biggest critic but i eat my words it has worked. If you want me to share what I did in detail just let me know and ill post what i done and how long it took for each stage.
