After watching one pup suffer and die from Parvo I think its reprehensible that you would consider bringing another pup into the household that may suffer the same fate. Just because your sisters pup has not contracted parvo yet does not mean that it won't and that your new pup won't also. You have been given a lot of good advice about the precautions you should take in regards to getting a new pup, what exactly is the problem with waiting? I feel very sorry for the poor breeder whom you eventually get a pup from if you have to tell them what happened to the pup they bred

Run a mile from those who advertise with/without papers. It is just another way for unethical people to make extra money.

I recently entered a co-ownership with a breeder in NSW (I am in Qld), Firstly we had our own contract which we hashed out together. On the CCCQ side of things, there is a co-ownership form on the CCCQ website that you will need to print and fill in When it comes time to register the pup I simply filled in the details of the NSW owner (the pup would be residing with her so I filled her name in first) and then filled my name in second in the owners section. The CC side of things is really a joke especially when on their paperwork they didn't even require an original signature. The most important thing for us involved in the co-ownership was a good solid contract that covered exactly what we both wanted for the bitch and ourselves.

Week 2 of Perri

I just popped to the shop for milk and stuff and picked up a packet of allsorts while I was there. ;) I could post some pics of the dogs chicken neck dinner. Will that cure the urge for sweets

Yep its my kindle, I LOVE it I went a bit mad the first few days buying too many books. I won't stop buying actual books, specifically my series of books because I like to have the complete sets but for someone like me who can get through 4 or more books a week it is wonderful.

Subject of quite a lot of my attention these days, I should have thought more about the light though, the reflection ruins it. Oh and I dont even like licorice allsorts I just like the colours thanks for the comments

I agree Aziah. And I'm afraid to say that the attitude of some might have been different if (dog forbid) the OP came on with questions about why her pups were sick or had infections and people were then shown an unclean environment. Would everyone be as "nice" as pie then?
