NO PUPPIES STILL I am off to the vet again

They seem to be only mild contractions and has been having them for about an hour and a half, 10 to 15 mins apart

I called my vet and they said to give her a little longer, the puppies are still moving and she is still doing her usual nesting, and panting. she isn't distressed and seems calm, she is getting contractions and resting in between. Have been giving her some calcium and just have to keep waiting

Where still going, STILL no puppies 48 hrs now in 1st stages still SO tired

Still nothing here lots of nesting still I don't think we are far off having them, so just wants to keep going outside.

Just back from the vet and she is pretty well dialiated and we should expect puppies tonight sometime. will let u guys know as the night goes on

No she wasn't prog tested, these where just the only 2 days that she would accept him. Should I be worried about her water has broken and still no puppies after so long, she isn't trying to push just panting a pacing the house, following me, and hiding. Still doing the same thing she has been doing since 11pm last night.

Day 56 from first mating? If it were day 56 from first mating and you'd progesterone tested I'd be concerned, if it's day 56 from the first mating and you didn't progesterone test then I'd imagine she's probably on time and was mated a little later than she would have been if she'd been prog tested. :D Hi, the only days she was mated was the 7th and 8th of december, she wouldn't accept him before or after those days. she had her puppy's early last time aswell had 6 all survived, she was a week and a half early last time. I am a little worried but not much I can do to stop her labour I'm afraid.

Well my girl had another all nighter, lots of panting and at 2am I am pretty sure her water broke she has lots of clear fluid all over the floor in patches no smell to it and am pretty sure it wasn't urine. Her temp has slowly been dropping all day took it this morning it was 37.4, then 2 hours later 37.1, then an hour later 37, and 3 hours later 36.8. so hopefully some puppies soon she is on day 56 so hopfully the puppies will be ok. I haven't been asleep at all, hopefully when hubby gets home he can take care of the 3 kiddies and the pregnant one while I have a nana nap before they arrive.

My girl is still hanging in there, I spoke to the lady who had her last litter as I was worried about her going early, and she said she went a week and a half early last time, with no signs of her having them she just walked outside and she was in labour and had already had 4 pups so she is keeping me real busy ;)

GO RUBY whelp free and easy

We are on day 54 now and she decided to have a practice run last night, her temp dropped to 37.1 yesterday morning, which I was really not to worried about seeing as it is not much of a drop, then at 9pm last night started her heavy panting and has milk in her back 4 teats and was having a constant flow of discharge, was whining a little in between heavy panting and her belly got rock hard aswell. Then she just decided enough was enough and has stopped. She dosen't know what she wants to do

Thanks for that I will give it a shot I have all tha bar the last 2, pardon my ignorance but what is Pentavite? and where can I get it from?

Can't wait to see those pictures I have 10 days to go, getting excited as this is only my 2nd litter, I just hope I remember what to do it has been just over 2 years since my first litter

RIP sweet boy what an amazing journey u had

day 51- we have set up her whelping box and she has taken to it well, I went out and got her a dietry supplement and mixed it into some raw mice and hand fed her today and she has eaten about half a cup of it throughout the day. She also a a little puppy milk for breakfast aswell. she still is not keen on eating but with A LOT of encouragement she gives in.

Another day of not eating much at all she has only had a half a cooked sausage since the 24th, not sure what is going on I think maybe she is feeling a little nausea, she seems to go to eat then just spit's it back out again. I started taking her temp when she started her weird behaviour 2 days ago and last night was the highest I had yet at 37.8 and now back down to 37.3 this afternoon. she has taken to pacing the house most of the night and crawling in and out from under our bed. has anybody got any ideas on what would get her to eat? I have tried mince, sausage and her fav dog food roll, chicken mince and canned food. Also tried some puppy milk not interested at all. This is a dog that eats anything, but just can't seem to temt her. should I be worried?? (Edit to fix my terrible spelling)

We have 14 days left to go, (on day 49) she has refused to eat anything since yesterday morning and is following me everywhere, she is constantly lying streached out and finding it very hard to get comfy, and wants to hide under the chairs but is to big to fit I keep telling her she needs to hold onto them another week at least. ;)

I Thought so to, she has just seemed to explode this last week and a half, her sides are huge aswell, I will try to take a top view. She had 6 pups in her first litter, and the sire I used this time had 9 pups to another girl but 2 where stillborn. I am just hoping everything goes smoother this time round.
