What a load of garbage. I did not say that was the case. Most people on this forum would not be multi millionaires but they dont whinge about the fact their vets are running a business and know full well they are going to be hit with fees when their animals get sick or injured. dont like vet fees - dont own a pet. I dont know how many times that needs to be repeated to sink in.

A gimp mask would be the way to go - that way the vets dont have to listen to the whingers complaining about markups while they do their job and treat the animals.

I said ingredients, not ingredients, gas/oil, equipment, a girl to sell it, rent, etc. Still I say too bad about the markup. Dont like it and want to whinge about it, dont own a pet. Pet ownership is a privilege, not a right, and with that privilege comes the responsibility of adequate health care for your pet.

I dont know what sort of vets you go to but mine do. I'm also given a worst case scenario re costs, but that wasnt the OP's concern. She simply resents the fact that vets markup pharmaceuticals. Big deal. My baker charges $2.50 for a loaf of bread that costs him 20 cents in ingredients to make. So what - he's running a business not a charity.

I know, Hesa. I'm not a vet - I'm as confused as anyone when told different things about having my dog done. Irrelevant anyway - the OP's dog was done weeks ago and he's very happy with the result.

Some say 10 days, some say 2-3 weeks and some say it's not necessary at all. Oh well - not really the question the OP was asking anyway

Crate him for the 3 weeks - toilet breaks only on lead.
