  1. Pardon me.. I'm dumb. How did this work out?? Actually never mind... this thread isn't about your accidental litter and I'm crossing my fingers that the pups were desexed before you moved them onto their new families. But anyway...I'm agreeing with everyone who says puppy school.... Fear can turn into agression so I personally wouldn't be putting my pup in a situation where it might turn ugly. One snap from your pooch, a whinge from someone else, and no more pooch. wow i forgot i even posted this its been so long! the bitch got pregnant to the dog at my parents cos i take my 3 there everyday so they can play with my parents dogs So..... when you said "all my dogs are de-sexed..." that wasn't actually a correct statement? You don't watch your dogs when they play? You didn't see a dog mount your pet? I've just realised I've brought up a completely old topic for no reason.. I was searching puppy tips.. Never mind me.. I don't want to stir anything up.... /exits thread. if u read it properly it says "all my dogs are de-sexed ASIDE from the puppy" the reason being was cos i wasnt sure if he cld be if his testicles hadnt dropped. i went to the vet and found out he cld be so now he is. and as for seeing the male mount my bitch....i said i take them to my parents during the day while im at work so NO i didnt see it and only found out she was pregnant when i went to get her de-sexed and as i have mentioned i didnt want to abort them as they were healthy. and another thing all pups were de-sexed before they were sold so will everyone just get the hell off my back all i did was ask a simple effing question geez

  3. oh she's not fugly she's beautiful haha i love the sad look...i want to cuddle her awww
  4. That's hilarious! Poor little pups! They'd be like "Ok, I'm up, I'm standing, now...come on legs...you can do it...one step, two steps, woohoo! Look at me Mum! I'm walking! Woah look at me go!" *pup gets excited and so wags his tail* "Ohhh sh*t I'm down again!" :p bahahahaha so so true! if only they stayed that silly id be entertained for life...altho my 3 are pretty ridiulous most of the time!
  5. they have about 4 ropes of all different sizes and love having 3 way tug of wars, i might try him with the kong again but i have found tuffies so i think ill get him one of those cos they look good

  7. I looked at the tuffies they might be the way to go cos he loooooooooves squeaky toys!
  8. oooooooohhhhh winston would adore that!he loves to chew things he's not supposed to! he gets in trouble but then looks at me with his "sad ears" on and i cant help but squish him!how long ru fostering the daxi?
  9. yeah definitely not before 8 weeks i think most breeders keep them til about 10, my friend didnt get her french bulldog til he was nearly 12 weeks
  10. Kongs are great if you smear peanut butter inside and then stick piece of liver treats in the peanut butter. Make sure it isn't easy for them to get out (so right in the centre of the kong), and they can spend hours trying to get the treats ive tried kongs but sadly no matter what i put in them he's not interested, i also tried raw bones but he polishes them off quicker than u can say boo! thanks for the input though
  11. one of my old friends had a chi called ally same colour and everything how odd!
  12. haha thats funny...winston never ate his elizabethan collar but tried to eat his stiches, wires, fax cords etc he's a real little terror...hence my name terror x 3!!!! i love the little chi in ur pic....super cute!
  13. haha thats NOTHING!!! winston has killed 2 sofas, cushions, chairs, books and anything else he can get his little paws on!
  14. well ill keep my eyes peeled for them....im interested to find out what u end up naming her
  15. LOL i love to squeeze my babies, my daxie grows and makes all sorts of ridiculous noises its quite funny, honeychild will grunt and rockstar will squirm so none of them really enjoy my "love squeezes" as i call them haha. I cant wait to see more pics of her as she gets bigger....do u have more pics of the lovely Lewis?
  16. Lewis is very handsome indeed! U should name her something that implies trouble as im sure she will be haha....maybe anarchy?
  17. Although money is tight (I hear u on that one as i have 3 little piggies!) id go for super premium foods like Nutro or Royal Canin, they are all ur dog needs nutritionally. i used to work for a big pet store and learned about all the foods extensively and found them to be the best. if u cant afford those as they are quite expensive what about trying roo mince as well as dry food?
  18. she might be a mix of both ull have to post more pics as she grows....whats her name?
  19. I agree it could be a plant allergy or maybe just a skin allergy. My shih tzu can get really bad skin so i just keep her on a good shampoo and she gets tablets from the vet if it gets too bad. As for the lump i was thinking vaccination reaction all 3 of mine had this happen
  20. awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww too cute!i almost had to look away due to all the cuteness!!! i reckon amstaff but its hard to tell either way he/she is beautiful!
  21. maybe she was trying to assert her dominance?my pup was the same way for a while and some ppl on DOL gave me some really good advice. but basically socialisation and patience are what will overcome it in my opinion....by the way she is absolutely gorgeous!
  22. u might have to try adding the pic again...if ur trying to take it from photobucket i think its the bottom link???
  23. He doesnt really go for harder toys like kongs they dont hold his interest for long enough but he is very food orientated! he's nearly a year old now that i think about it and is de-sexed and very intelligent MOST of the time haha
  24. When my bitch had puppies there were a few late bloomers but all eyes were opened by about 10-14 days, they were walking by about 3 weeks old and their personalities came thru not long after. As for possibly annoying the owner of the bitch and her pups I wouldnt be too concerned! I loved when the future owner of HoneyChild's pups came to visit it made me feel better getting to know the person and knowing where the little munchkin was going to.
