That is brillantly worded. Instead of a Roundabout I would be pushing for actual Traffie Lights. Having lived in that area and travelled the Westernport Hwy aka Dandenong-Hastings Roads for many years I can tell you 1st hand that the traffic congestion at both the Thompson Road Roundabout(where Maccas, Red rooster is) is just woeful- you can wait up to 10minutes to get on/through that roundabout and the other at Hall Rd leading to KCC Park- well you are taking your life in your own hands to get through this one and it is even worse now with the housing estates going up. I had an accident there in Mrch this year when a P-Plate motorcyclist keep weaving in and out of the traffic. We push for Traffic Lights in my opinion I would help with the petition but am going into hospital Monday

The Qantas CEO said on the 7pm ABC News that "all Qantas flights, domestic and flights in and out of Australia are now Cancelled until further notice and until the Unions lift their embargos/bans". Fair Work are meeting with Qantas tonight I am so glad I cannot fly. This will have a big impact on all shows this weekend as most of the judges are from overseas etc

Hi I am asking this question for a dear friend who is not a member of the list. We have some very knowledgable people on this list so I hoping someone can provide me with an answer that I can tell my friend. Okay this is the situation- My friend had 3 dogs in his name. He decided to "syndicate" them with a friend and have a syndicate started with DogsVic and in the Syndicate application he and the other Syndicate Owner made a written statement to DogsVic that he(my friend) would be the one responsible for all feeding and Vet requirements and that all the dogs would live with him. Now the other syndicate owner has 2 of the dogs living with him and he has transferred the Microchips into his name. My friend was pressured into doing this as he was going through financial difficulties at the time. However all the dogs are still registered with DogsVic in the "Syndicate " names and are also still council registered at my friends place. He doesn't know which way to approach his mate about getting the dogs back living with him without ruining their long friendship. My friend saw and handled the dogs a few weeks back and when his mate came to pick them up they did not want to go home with him. I am hoping one of our knowledgeable Listers can provide me with some guidance/assistance so that I can help my friend have all of his dogs back living with him as per the Written agreement submitted to DogsVic to have a "Syndicate Mebership" arranged( and for those that might be thinking, this is NOT about my Collies! My friend has a breed in Group 7)

Lady of the Ghans on your great win and to all the other DOLers who had a successful weekend. I am retiring my girls now.Gracie gained her Title in just 9 shows with 3 Class In Groups Ch Shows under local,interstate and Overseas Judges so she does not have to prove anything. She excelled just like my late Dad said she would. Her mum Phoebe will go to the very occasional show if there is Neuter Class and is close to home. I have titled a Collie in Obedience to CDX, became ANKC Judge for Obedience Trial, got a Collie(not bred by us but loved and owned by us) through to Australian Champion and have now bred and owned an Australian Champion so very pleased with that indeed :D

No only 6 points as the male neuter beat her for neuter of breed However at the Collie Ch Show in July Phoebe was awarded Neuter Bitch, then beat the dog who beat her today and then went on to be awarded Best Neuter In Show :D

well at least we have supported Neuter Classes with our Phoebe taking out Best Neuter In Show at our breed specialty( and yes there were other neuters) and we have entered another show with Phoebe in Neuter. My understanding of the Neuter Champion Title was that it was a ANKC Approved Title therefore ALL states can offer it?? I agree that the CC's need to do a Publicity campaign about Neuter Champions As for donating Sashes, I donated a Best Exhibit In Group 5 for the recent Shepparton Ag Show and not 1 person has had the manners to at least advise me who won the Sash. I don't expect anyone to send me flowers lol I would just like to know who won BIG so I can congratulate them

I think more Neuters would be entered if the schedule had the Neuter Classes highlighted in some way to show exhibitors that the Neuter Classes are on offer insteasd of just tagging the Neuter Class number on the end of Open, Class 11/11A Thats how I see it attracting more entries for Neuter anyway

Thanks itsmeg So have I got this right before I tell my friend all Junior Neuters compete for Best Junior Neuter in Group and then all Open Neuters compete for Best Open Neuter In Group also another question so I give my friend the info he is after- If say there is a Junior Neuter and also an Open Neuter in the breed they play off for best neuter of breed but each will compete in their own Class, ie Junior Neuter and Open Neuter in Group Specials?

Thsnks for the answer. It is a shame the dog/bitch won't get further points after best of breed. The ANKC should look at how the entries have really declined and realise that for most of us once our dog/bitch achievs Aust Ch title the dogs are ,in some cases, desexed for whatever reason. My frienf is bringing his desexed male back into the conformation ring and asked me a question and i don't know the answer but I am sure one on my fellow DOLers with knowledge will know the answer; Q. If the dog is awarded Best Neuter Dog, then best neuter of breed and then competed for Best Neuter In Group and wins it is the dog awarded any further points other than what it is awarded for Best neuter of Breed? LoveMyRottie- what is this "PlaqueOff Powder" that you are referring to? I don't give mine bones due to previous episodes of bones getting stuck. They hsve dry kibble and will be revisiting the Nylabone know that my younger girl is not into demolishing anything. BTW this is a very interesting and knowledgeable topic- not only for "newbies" but also for those of us who have had dogs since childhood
