  1. Nothing yet unfortunately. Still nesting and uncomfortable. We were up and down all night. Hopefully we get going properly today while the vets etc are open. Lol. Good luck Miss Maddi. Lots of licks and pants from Lola.
  2. Super cute Becks I actually think we might be on our way tonight.
  3. I got them because it's my first litter and I'm a bit nervous, but as an added bonus I now have these awesome images: HOLY CRAP THEY ARE HUGE! Is that the normal size of a puppy??? (New breeder here too) LOL!! That was about my reaction... I've been told they are a bit big being only twinsies... but apparently still ok to go au naturale.

  5. That would be awesome ;) I can't believe that in just over 12 weeks these babies will be in the ring ;) Lola only ate half of her breakfast this morning and still has a temp of 36.4 down from 37.5 yesterday.
  6. Just got my numbers and figured I had time to add them here... Group 1 - 196 Group 2 - 101 Group 3 - 148 Group 4 - 107 Group 5 - 123 Group 6 - 192 Group 7 - 104
  7. No signs just yet. She had a lower temp by 1 degree this morning, but it is a pretty cold morning and she's had a low am temp before and it came back up, so we'll wait and sew what she's looking like later on. I hope she doesn't go tonight, I have an overnight counselling shift... but if I have to cancel, I have to cancel as long as she's showing signs before I leave! well lets hope she either decide to have them earlier and lets ya know or leaves it till tomorrow ;) Fingers crossed ;) Hubby will be home with her and will have SpikesPuppy's phone number on hand if she does start showing signs. I'll have to have my phone off but will check it every couple of hours. We should be fine.

  9. Those are some gorgeous babies GN! We are waiting on a phone call from the repro vet to confirm she is ok to be left to go on her own. Apart from that we have no news at 2 days to go. No temp drop no nothing. To be honest, I was kinda hoping that she would go a couple of days early, those babies are big enough!
  10. Bloody hell GN... what a horrible thing to have happen. Glad you got some live babies and your girl is (relatively) ok. RIP poor lost babies.
  11. Awww Tibbie & Merri... those are some gorgeous baby bellies
  12. BPIG was the King Charles; and Minor was the Italian Greyhound I think the Cavalier was Open and the Malt was Aus Bred but don't quote me on that. after that I ran off to band up and go home so didn't get any more results.
  13. Awww Cazzie! How stressful I am so sorry that you have lost one of the babies... fingers, toes and everything else crossed that the other bubbas and Miss Maddi are health and well and she can cook those bubbas until they're good and ready.. don't want undercooked bubbas! Good luck.
  14. I don't think we can say that anything impacting on another competitor is unfair. If that were the case, we would be showing our dogs one by one in an enclosed room... everything anyone does impacts on other competitors in one way or another. I think as long as we are being reasonable about what we do and making a reasonable effort to prevent our behaviour and our dogs behaviour from impacting on other competitors then thats all that we can do. Someone squeaking a toy discretely shouldn't be a huge impost.... now if they're waving that thing around and squeaking it at full volume, that might be a different story.
  15. Usually yes, but I've seen a couple of things suggesting some upcomingshows may be outside.
  16. Does anyone know if group 1 is inside or out for this show?
  17. With my baby psychopath I put a squeaker in my waistband... I look like an idiot poking myself to squeak, but it's not an over the top sound just enough to get her attention. I also tried last week to bait her in a practice stack before we went into the ring and then just used my hand and pretended to have bait in the ring (she gets a bit stupid over actual food in the ring)... it seemed to work a treat.
  18. well we have the results of Lola's X-ray and she has only two babies and they are big. Looks like she might need a c-section, but we have to wait until next week to find that out.
  19. I'm sorry to hear things got off to a rough start :p Glad the rest went smoothly for you!
  20. Sorry I missed responding to this. I'm so sorry to hear about the lost little girl. WOW she looks like she has a fair few cooking away, do you know how many you are expecting? I am slowly adjusting to how different a pregnant Whippet looks haha, I think of all the breeds a pregnant Whippet is the most different to its usual shape. I am impressed at how quickly they appear to return to their previous stunning shapes though! They do look so very different don't they! Kanati, she is just gorgeous Hahahah I am very excited... I hope future litters are as exciting and special as this one. I'm loving just lying in bed with her and watching her exorcist belly, it is awesome We have our x-ray at 2 this afternoon to count the babies... I'm sure I can feel 3, but we'll see!
  21. LOL Cazzie... I do love that pic chubby bubby :D Yeah I am getting excited... 6 days to go.. and I think everything is just about ready. Omg that belly is adorable Shellby
  22. Congratulations! And some updated piccies of Lola with 7 days to go!
