I lost Bindi my angel suddenly three weeks ago, and I wont lie it is still very painful, but I am starting to come out of my drugged felt stance that I could not lift. My heart goes out to you. I am going to be giving the net a miss for a few days, I think I just need some time to focus on Georgea. As you have all suggested love her and be thankful of her. Honestly guys I dont know how I would have coped without all your thoughtful posts, PMs and support. Thank you all. I promise when I come back I will have a load of photos of Georgea.

thanks tlc. Yep went to her place. No signs of any other dogs. So i am hoping that she may stop breeding. But I cant see that happening.

To be honest I think the breeder just didn't know how to spell Georgia properly - think of it as putting your own stamp on her and ridding her off her past - (or satisfying spelling nazi's... ) Wonderful she's been give a clean bill of health I had a Cavalier foster dog (PAWS) here the other day, I was a bit tempted to keep her myself. She's already found a home with my neighbours who adore her. Such dear little dogs! I may think about that.

Was actually thinking about locating the breeder of the sire, to find out if his parents were health tested. Do you think this would be ok?

Thank you everyone I took Georgea to my vet and explained everything to her. She is very anti-petshop and anti-puppy farmer, and she was worried that I might have received a puppy with problems. But after a very thorough examination (physical) the vet said that Georgea was in perfect health, her heart sounded great. Her knees were great and she had no hernias. No mites, no fleas, no rashes. Eyes are clear. Nose is clear. She said I was very lucky. Coincidentally, just before we went into see the vet, the door opened and in walks my mothers cousin, who I have not seen in years, with a little baby cav. I noticed that Di, had the same forms as me, and said did you get your puppy from such and such. Yep, she watched the show last night and was also worried about the health of her puppy and wanted to get her checked out thoroughly. We found out that they were litter mates. Sisters. and they seemed to recognize each other too.... Apparently she paid $100 less then me, because she did not want the papers. I tell you this week just keeps, shocking the hell out of me.

Ok have just spoken to the vet office where Georgea was vaccinated. The receptionist was shocked to hear what had happened. Georgea was given a clean bill of health, and was vaccinated. So that atleast is something. But I will be taking her to my vet now to have him go over her with a fine tooth comb. Thank you Miss molly. Georgea is a very much loved little girl and is jsut the sweetest little angel. She is very clever and is nearly house trained already. I will be doing obedience with her, and I think she will pick things up very quickly. Ok thanks everyone, I have to go hve a quick shower while she is asleep

That is so sad and makes me so angry. Those poor dogs. Huski, will take some more photos I promise. Ok I am off to the vets for a complete check up. Will ring the vet that vaccinated Georgea , to confirm that she has been Vaccinated, as I dont believe a word this lady has said to me. I have the paper work, but....

Thanks for letting Troy know Ellz. Surely this woman should not be allowed to go on breeding? It makes me sick to think what those poor dogs went through. Something has to be done to shut her down, completely!!!! Never to breed dogs again. For her to live in those conditions, makes me think that maybe she may be a hoarder as well, as a puppy farmer. I have emailed her to ask to sight the health tests that were 'supposedly' done. Thank you everyone for your care and support. It means so much.

That is good news. Tomorrow I will be calling ANKC and informing them of what is going on. Thank you every one for your support, you dont know how much it means. i am a bit of a basket case atm.

Did you see any test results? I'm sorry this has happened to you. No i didnt pf ;) , I had planned on asking, but forgot and then was planning on ringing her, but I dont like my chances.

Is there a way I can find this info out? I have her pedigree here, can I find out of that, somehow.

I will be taking Georgia to the vets tomorrow to be thoroughly checked out. Even though I have all her paper work, I will be ringing everyone involved to make sure everything has been done. She told me that Georgeas parents have been hip/elbow, PRA and heart. This was important to me, because I needed to know that Georgea has the best chance not to develop any debilitating illnesses.

;) OMG, I am so sorry!!! Yes that is the place. I feel physically sick. It was nothing like that on Sunday. But OMG I cant believe it..those poor little dogs, I could hardly watch it, i was crying that hard. I am so sorry. I honestly cant believe it. ;) I have left some not so nice comments on her guestbook, just to tell her how sick I am, that I have inadvertently contributed to her puppy farming venture and to warn others. Please tell me someone, why is she allowed to be a registered breeder???????????????????????? especially after that Please tell me how can I get it out to people not to buy puppies from her. Because when I researched, all I came up with was all the champions, and how well alot of her dogs have done in the ring. This is another reason I chose her, because she was not just a breeder , but showed her dogs too. I cant get the images of those poor dogs out of my mind and to think what Georgea went through. I am just sick to the stomach.... ;) ;)

I do understand that the loss of a pet is devastating and that a new one can help to mend the heart, when you are ready but why buy from someone who ships litter after litter and breed after breed to oversease pet shops ? I would never KNOWINGLY buy from someone that did this. I honestly had no idea!

No I wasnt aware of that. I did research them and nothing came up They are listed here on DOL That is actually why I decided to go with them. :D
