Georgea is fed totally raw diet. Chicken necks, chicken wings, lamb flaps, liver. But tonight I noticed her the feet look a bit splayed. She is 9 months. Is there any thing that I can add to her diet to help this. Georgea is a Cavalier.

I have just finished mine, this is my first go at embroidery. I hope you can make out what it is suppose to be. ( a newly hatched birdee)

Yep it is the hard plastic that is scaring them. I started out using a piece of cloth, then when they were comfortable with that, I used a piece of clear pvc. Then probably two days later when they were used to skooting in and out the door, I put the perspex back on and voila.

What a tragic accident :D There is nothing that i can say to take away the guilt and the pain you are feeling, except that after I lost my angel Bindi, I was riddled with guilt, that everything was out of whack that fateful day. But I came to the conclusion that maybe no matter what we do, when they are called to the bridge, they have to go. .

That is disgraceful, but unfortunately not surprising When I plan on bringing another dog into the family, there will be no stone left unturned.

Just be very careful!!! What proof do you have that health tests were done? I ask this because I purchased a CKCS from a ' supposedly good breeder' I also made sure to ask about health tests. It was confirmed that all of this breeders dogs had been tested. I purchased my dog on main register. Not a couple of days later I found out that this person who USED to be a good breeder and had showed alot of good dogs, turned into a puppy farmer. I had no proof of any health testing being done and could no longer take her word for it. I was frantic, as I had just lost my heart dog, and could not bear the thought of purchasing a puppy with out any health tests done on her parents. I was lucky, in that I could research Georgea's parents and grand/great parents from her papers. I found out that Georgea does come from dogs that have been heart tested. So this has reassured me no end. Can I ask the pedigree name of your dog? If it were me, I would be getting my hands on the papers, and tracing the dogs heritage to see if they have been heart tested.

A beautiful sentiment

I seen this last night on the news, and knew instantly it was one of our own. Oh jed please get better. My heart is breaking for those angels lost in the fire. I have been praying for your recovery Jed, not just your physical recovery, but for strength to be able to deal with such a tragic, heart wrenching loss of your little babies. :mad

I am so sorry for your loss of such a beautiful man. Miko looked like he was a gorgeous, goofy guy. I am sure he will leave a huge hole in your heart.

I too am wondering about this. I have a little dog, so I am totally paranoid about off lead dogs. I have thought about what I would do if a big dog came up wanting to attack Georgea, I was going to put myself on top of her to stop a dog from being able to get to her. But after reading about that dog attack last Sunday, when a lady in Maitland was walking her little maltese and a big crossbreed came up to them to attack the dog. She placed herself on top of the dog, and was severly bitten and the x bred got the little dog and walked off with it in its mouth. :eek: So I would love to know what to do if this was to happen to me and Georgea.

Oh god, when I saw Gherkins name, I did not want to open it. :cry: I am so sorry!!!! Such a sad loss of a gorgeous baby. :rofl:
