  3. Thanks, no worries I know how much I enjoy looking at other ppls pics so thought I would share mine
  4. Yes it is very much like a zoo here but we all love it Well the cats are fine with the dogs most of them are too laid back (or blonde) to worry about the dogs, sometimes the whippet tries to get them to run so she can chase them and fez gets all in their faces with his kisses or barks at them in excitment but generally they all get along fine, cookie and sookie just hiss and slowly hid if they get too excited and sulley he beats the dogs up if they try to stur him and he has had enough hahahaha. I love birmans with their cute lil white feet seen quite a few at the cat show they are gorgeous and ide love to one day have a maincoon they are huge and lovely apparently very much doggy cats.
  5. I was def a dog person before these guys but the exotic and british are just so sweet and docile, you should see me walking around the farm I have a swarm of 6 cats all around me!!! I jokingly walk around saying watch out crazy cat lady coming through
  6. Yeah there is quite a few Im lucky because im home 90% of the time so its ok. Hahahaha well it not that bad actually as long as when I start feeding the cats im quick about getting it down to them hahaha. Dog you can teach manners to..... cats not so much
  7. Ohhhh thanks, I was looking at your sig earlier you have a cute mob too love the names!!!!
  8. HAHAHAHA cause I was trying to keep it just to the dogs and cats..... if I went onto Timmy then I would have to include the bunnies, pony, chickens, ducks and mrs pebbles who is my goat hahaha oh and the mob of sheep who are run by Rambo the ram do not fret Timmy is very much alive and kicking
  9. They don't have it for cats at the moment, but they are working on it, my vet told me. I think it's a fantastic product, Bertie has had no trouble with it. I think it's very important to remember to give it WITH food. And it says chewable...but I don't take that chance, I don't think Bertie would eat it left to himself. Will have to ask my vet about it next time i go in
  10. Ok thanks it def sounds like a plan last summer wasnt too bad but the one b4 when I wasnt living here I would come to visit and you would put midge out for the toilet and by the time she came in she would have about 50 of them running across her belly it was terrible mum was having to bomb the house every week and no flea treatment could keep up. fingers crossed its not so bad this yr.
  11. whats it like price wise (if you dont mind me asking) and do they have it for cats do you know? I use advantage atm it controls the ear mites for the cats, do you know if it only controls fleas or does it work on other things as well?
  12. Is this an oral treatment? I think my vet mentioned something about a new treatment out for fleas thought she said it was oral though i could be wrong.

  19. I have been ferreting b4, I wont actually kill the animal, but didnt have a prob helping to skin and gut them. Im a lil too far away though :p have fun.
  20. Yes seen a few animals in the large barn that looked a bit stressed, esp the ewe that had just given birth and was on display she was beathing quicky and ears were darking around so were her eyes and she was backing into the corner where the lamb was.
  21. You are able to keep them as pets but with ALOT of trouble from what I remember (when I was young I was determined I want one looked stuff up on the net and books etc) They (from memory) make good pets much the same as a cat, but you have to have a fully contained run for them as they will get out of any yard or unroofed pen and cause all sorts of mischeif. I hate what they do to other animals, but they did not choose to be what they are and they really are quite fun to watch, there was a pair of young ones across from my nans old place (well every breeding season there was a new set) and they would frolick and play just like puppies/kittens. An EX partner once caught on in a possum trap it was only just out of the den and about the same size of the ones in this pic.... it was feral hiss and screamed and bit.... his big boofa staffy, bully, heeler back tracked away from it
  22. Yeah I guess I shouldn't of been so judgemental, Its just the whole look of the set up really put me off. It seemed to me that they were selling the products at the animals expense but obviously I was wrong. Its a good thing if they were trying to educate the public about such things as rescue and adopting pets
  23. Yeah idk I dont think I really had a prob with the whole thing.... just it did look bad to me with them being in the same sort of set up as a petshop.
