My sister asked me yesterday about Pet Products on the Web. I told her what had happened to me and her order that she placed just before I did has also not arrived. I've told her to go through Paypal and get a refund. She won't be using them again, either.

I would've highly recommended them until this time. I know that things go missing or things can go wrong but it's the way they handled the situation that I was most disappointed with. No return email, no return phone call. I was completely ignored. I found Sentinel Spectrum for the same price at our local Chemist Outlet, so at least I can buy that when I want it and not have to worry about it not turning up and not getting a refund. Problem solved.

I had an order not turn up from here and I managed to contact them by phone as not once did they reply to my numerous emails and every time he said he would get straight onto it then did nothing. On my last phone call after I told him I frequent this forum and we provide feedback on how we found companies he finally gave me a refund and managed to do it in 2 minutes after 2 months of getting nowhere, they still lost me as a customer . I have just gone through exactly the same thing. I had bought from them a couple of times previously with no problem. This time, I ordered in plenty of time, gave myself a month for it to arrive before I needed the Sentinel but it never turned up. I emailed and he replied saying there was a delay in dispatch but it never turned up. The website disappeared for quite a few days, which also meant two of the email addresses I had bounced back but I tried the other email address. I called the phone number and "somebody else" answered the phone who said that Robert was away until the next week. He also said that since I paid with Paypal, everything would be ok. I emailed again but no response. I lodged a dispute with Paypal which escalated to a claim immediately. I did manage to speak with him again and he did say he'd look into it and call me back but of course, he didn't. I emailed once more and tried to ring again but no answer and no reply. He had until yesterday to respond to Paypal and I received an email today saying that I would be getting a refund through Paypal. I don't know what has happened. The site is back up again but they have lost me, too.

I have already given her Sentinel Spectrum today, so I didn't want to dose her up too much with these other things.

What do people use to treat ear mites? My girl is showing signs of having them and while I have no hesitation in taking her to the vet, if it is just a matter of buying something and applying it myself, I'd be happy to do that. Thanks

Plush Puppy Herbal Whitening Shampoo here, too. My Ollie has absolutely no red tones in his black coat at all anymore and he did before we started using it. Plus, the white does look very white, too.

Thanks again... How many dogs do they usually have in a class? My two have both done obedience classes there and did quite well, so they know how "classes" work. They are food motivated. They aren't highly stimulated by other dogs. Recall is good most of the time but better with food Overall, they are quite good at learning. Izzy is very focussed but after about 20 minutes of obedience class, would kind of lose concentration. I just want to get them out to do something fun. I loved obedience but thought something a little more active might be more fun for them.

Thanks for that... How long does it usually take to progress from Beginners to Green, Green to Yellow, etc... As in, how many weeks do you usually spend in each class?

Just wondering if anybody goes to agility at Castle Hill on Thursday nights... If so, how does it work? Do they have beginners classes to learn things and you move up as you learn? We have two dogs and I doubt they would work if they're in the same class, so was thinking of starting one and starting the other later if you do actually change classes. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have been reading up about luxating patellas...my girl had both knees operated on, so I know what it's all about. I found this thread http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...uxating+patella and in particular this post (below) in reply and was curious... What other exercises are good to increase the muscle in the back legs? I heard that this can be a way to stabilise the patella and that pulling on the lead DOES help but I am interested in what else can help. Thanks.

Just out of curiosity...

When I went to my own chiro yesterday and mentioned I was taking Ollie to Neil, he asked why I didn't bring him in I had no idea he did animals. I think I'll stick to someone who specialises in animals, though. Anyway, went and saw Neil today - he was lovely, even though my puppy was a sook the whole time he was being examined. He checked him all over and all is fine.

I had read this, too. My little guy, Ollie, hurt himself yesterday. When we got home from work, he was limping quite badly, holding his front right paw off the ground. He cried when we touched it (he is a big sook anyway). After sitting quiet for about three hours (getting cuddles from his dad ), he got up and walked like nothing was wrong. He is fine today, too. I just want to make sure that nothing has happened that may cause anything further later on.

After doing a lot of reading, I came to the decision to book in with Gary Barnsley. I rang to book but he is not taking any new clients :p I got an appointment with his son, Neil. Is he just as good? Or does anybody have any other suggestions? I have two cavaliers. I am around the Hills area but will travel. Thanks.

Oh for sure, my partner was going to take him to the park on his own and I would stay home with her. He would probably be ok with that, though. If I take her out without him, he sulks and cries.

Yes, pretty much. He adores her. He does whatever she does. We have thought about taking him out separately or her out separately to give them time apart.

I'm hoping somebody can help me with this problem... We have two cavaliers, Izzy is 15 months, Ollie is 7 1/2 months. We take them both to obedience classes. Izzy is great, no problems there. Ollie has "issues" He cries. He starts at home, crying when we get his car harness ready. He cries in the car on the way. He quietens down but then does a very soft whimper. He cries once the handbrake goes on. Then he's quiet as we walk over to where we wait. If Izzy walks away from him, he cries. THEN...when it's time to start class, I take Izzy over to her class and he goes right off his head. My partner gets quite embarrassed about it. Ollie is so loud, I can hear him from the other end of the oval. My partner has tried everything to distract him but he doesn't even want a treat. He's almost hysterical. My partner is at the stage now that he doesn't even want to take him if he's going to carry on like that because in class, he will do what is required but in between "exercises" will cry. The instructor told him that he should have gone up a class (for next week) except his crying has held him back. It's not like he can't do things, he's already in Class 5 and he does everything perfectly - sit, drop, stand, stay... It's just the crying. So...if anybody can offer some suggestions - please do. Thank you. Oh and by the way, he's been going to obedience since November but this crying has only just started in the last two weeks. Before that, he would cry at home to get his harness on and in the car but once he was there, he was ok. He is a big sook. Even when we get home, he cries Izzy has never cried, so this is all new to us

I started this thread back in August. Since then, I have continued to brush Izzy and also have another puppy. Izzy is easy to brush now. She doesn't really like it but tolerates it. She still sits when I brush her but when I want to brush her tail and her trousers, I tell her to stand and just put my hand under her belly. With Ollie (who is nearly 7 months now), he is much easier. You're always better with your second. I have brushed and brushed him since we got him and he likes it although wasn't fussed in the beginning, he will now just lay there and roll over for me. With time, patience and regular routine brushing, they get better is all I can say. They do grow up...eventually...even though sometimes it doesn't seem like they ever will
