Might have to say no to the transport of biteys The award is primarily ad SFAC award but it is also due to he fact that as we were shaving as a group at Bunnings we came in the top 5 of the Bunnings groups, so it is a bit of both. The tickets for the awards thing was only for two so our team captain asked me and the other girl if we wanted to go as we raised the most money between us, infact all but a few hundered were raised by Carolyn and I they thought it fitting we should go! SO looking forward to it, I think we will be a bit out of our element in a swanky pub at south bank but it should be good for a few laughs!! Not realy sure what to expect!

Wow thats great, so glad you all had a fantastic day. When my friends boys were younger I used to go with them and your right it is a full on day especailly if the kids want to have a go at/see everything. I am off to Melbourne tomorrow with a work mate to an awards night, we are getting an award for our shave for cure efforts, so we have the whole day planned, leaving early catching up with an one of the Bunnings crew in Melton that left earlier in the year then onto the city for our function. Should be a great day, so this time tomorrow night it will be me thats stuffed. we dont expect to get home till after midnight! Luckily I have an awesome boss who gave me Friday off.

Gorgeous shot, they always look sooooo happy!!

Mine all get on (not in) my bed for cuddles at bed time, then the boys go to thier own beds (Bronson sleeps in a crate and Cooper has a soft bed on the floor) and the girls sleep on the bed. They all choose thier own sleeping spots apart from Bronson.

Gorgeous shot, so cute that he loves his toy! Looks like he has painted nails. I really liked that serious shot too, but it was a total fluke, pity there is another puppy head in the background!

It's pretty crap, I had to take the girlies for thier path testing at the vets and it was NOT pleasant doing the poo collection in this weather. home again for now but have to go to the big green shed this arvo. it's going to be soooo cold!

Love the kindle shot, How is your weather over there, it is absolutely ferrel here today, the sort of day when you just don't even want to venture out. but sadly I have to go to work in the big green shed, where I will freeze my but off, I get tired just from lugging around so many extra clothes on my body!

Just have a crack as they say there is only a week between a good and a bad haircut. No seriously, as Zug Zug said there is literally hunderds of grooming instructional vids online. With my lot, I knew how I wanted them to look and good groomers in my town are few and far between so I decided to have a go myself, it did take a few goes but I do feel now I can clip them with confidence and have them looking the way I like. It does take a little pracitce especially with thier faces depending on how you want them to look, I have on occasion taken a bit too much from here and there but it soon grows back. I use the km ss Wahl clippers, they cost around $350 with Stainless steel attachment combs for different length. I started out with a set of wahl sho pro clippers that cost me around $100. They were great but when I did started doing all 4 I decided to shout myself a better set and my Auntie is still using my old set. Are you close by to any tafe I think they do have grooming courses occasionally, perhaps you could look into that. In the time I have been clipping my lot (about 4 years) I have never had any mishaps such as cut skin etc. It really is not as hard as it tends to look but in saying that I won't clip other peoples dogs and would not like to groom for a living, I think there is a big difference in clipping your own dogs compared to clipping other peoples. As much as I enjoy clipping my own, I really admire pro groomers it is definatley not a job I could do full time.

Puppy Attacked On Holiday.. Any Advice?
tlc replied to Kobi'sDaisy's topic in General Dog Discussion
What Poodlefan said! Sorry I have to totally disagree with K&P method of extracting the attacking dog, this can result in the other dog having serious injuries, I have seen this done and the side of the dog being attacked was ripped apart because the attacking dog had latched on. You will get lots of responses here on the best way to intervene, I think you have to judge the situation as it happens. Get your pup amonst other dogs ASAP and on future walk try to be calm and collected so puppy gets positive vibes off you, if he is reacting passing houses ignore and move on and treat when he is calm. -
Awwww Puppy soooo cute! Great shots everyone!

Mocha is cute as a button, look forward to watching him grow and good luck with him in the ring!

Yes she is much bigger than when I seen her the other day, she was very smoochy that day and something very strange I thought was when I got home my lot showed no indicatin that I had been with another dog, you know how they usually go nuts sniffing clothes etc not a sniff, and I had Tarni all over my pants as she was leaning in for big smooches. I love the idea of the joint shops, that would be great and probly good for both businesses, they do definatley go hand in hand, I know a few fish people that are reptile people too! Look forward to baby puppy pics when they arrive, has she had an ultra sound? Any idea how many?? I have to go back to the vets again this week as the girls are due for thier path testing for Delta, oh what fun!!

Wow that's a lot is scaly stuff Can you tell reptiles are ot my thing. But I do love looking at thiem through the class and admiring them. Your banner looks awesome, obviously the shops name and logo? Pity you guys and Aqua life couldn't be next to each other. Sounds like a very exciting venture, the reptile loves around the district won't know what hit them! How's Tarni going, not long to go now.

Well that's great always good to drum up business before you open! Doesn't surprise me about the spray bottles, I can't work out the prices of some things. In my area there is 500ml acetone for $8 odd and 1 litre for $9 go figure, might as well get the 1 litre for an extra few cents. I finished at 1 today!
