  5. After waiting and waiting and more waiting the man in the moon just didn't want to come out to play. So I had to settle for a glow CM todays pic is awesome. I was hoping to get the ball more in focus... just being picky I guess.
  6. Thanks Chezzyr. Just wanted to try something different. I am always taking pics of the poodles so this thread has given me the push to try and expand my boundries.Oh Tokkie - what a beuatiful pic of the giraffe. Lea - just so beautiful and the colours MTD Molly is so beautiful, I really like the way you have her haed and paws in focus and the body fading out. Krislin great moon shot. One of the have to do that on my list.
  7. This one took me ages to get and sadly not quite right. I liked the challenge but my OH was getting tired of chipping balls so I had to settle for this one. I guess my career with sports illistrated is a no go Any hints by the experts would be appreciated
  8. Thanks CM. I used PS. Adjusted the individual colours of the giraffe (black and white) to a higher percent and then went into hue and saturation and adjusted the hues. It came up with various colours in the shadows and I chose the pink. Yeah it does. Buffa is feeling much better today although he still a bit sore and naked in a certain region Lovely pic PPS. Beuatiful way to start the day.
  9. Todays pic. My boy before his day at the vets. He is not a happy camper now. He is minus a couple of bits

  12. Thanks CM absolute fluke! I had never taken a moving water shot before and just played around with the buttons I finally got one right much to my OH's delight. He was getting a bit over splashing water Well, after spending over an hour taking weather shots and fence posts and general stuff and then looking on here I decided to delete the lot ;) Then I read about the manual focus on macro (thanks iltby) and decided to give it a go. Didn't know you could do such a thing.... I have learnt more in the past 7 days on here then in the year I have owned my DSLR camera. Thank you everyone These are straight off the camera no PS work. Edit for spelling again
