OMG glad you posted that Rural pug I am thinking of going over for a sticky beak and had forgotten its not in Noorat this year. That would have been interesting LOL rocked up and no dog show ROFL it had totally slipped my mind and it wouldnt have occured to me if I had arrived there and no dogs either (can I blame medication or age ??? Also forgot to mention I have been past your place a few times now Tenties and tooted the car horn :) Was going to call in, not the monday gone but the one before on my way back to Warrnambool tooted on way past say the new vehicle :thumbsup: but you not home on my return trip Will be going past this Monday again on way to Geelong I will toot as I go past again both ways LOL. Was disappointed I missed the dog show but I had completely forgotten about our appointment in Melb until it was too late to change the date will try to get over to Noorat for a look see :)Least it wont be far for you to travel LOL Is that next weekend ? I think I didnt go last year cose we had to go to Melb for the same appointment I missed this years Warrny show for ? Anyway will all depend on how my back is behaving as I have just spent the last 3 days in bed with it and have been told to do nothing for the next few Just cant avoid appoint on Monday so will have to grin and bare it. Wish it was a simple as going and buying a new back bone LOL when do you think that will happen ??? Buying new body parts ? not ones that we are not happy with but ones that no longer work properly...... It's the first rain we've had here for ages as well and I won't speak for anyone else but well needed for us so very happy that it's rained and hope we get a few more days of it just enough to fill some tanks and green up some Grass and put a bit of feed in the paddocks ect. Forgot to mention that I didn't receive a P.M either about that business but then I didn't comment on them as I have always found them to be good bar one staff member. Hi teela no dogs are not allowed in tower hill as its a protected area so no dogs at all :) it is beautiful there with lots of wildlife (I live just up the road a we get some of the wildlife coming for a visit here every now and then luckily the dogs are always locked up when it happens ) As for the weather its raining on and off so far for most of the day and we have just lite the wood heater for the first time in 4 months so a good call in giving it a miss :) all in all a pretty crappy day weather wise which is a disappointment for the model aero clubs day. Tenties I sent you a message via Facebook about not being able to make it to the show due to going to melb did you get it ? Going back to sit in front of heater to warm up lol Cheers Janet

Santa said it came with the tramp ;) he also says they are out at Independant sports out near the Good Guys ;) (well that was in the note he left for us incase anything went wrong ;) ) They are water proof too so kids can have a sleep over in there if they wanted too And it clips onto the legs so is pretty hardy and has 2 windows :)and a spout for the rainwater that may accoumulate on top of it, all very high tech

Just went outside and not too bad now that THAT wind has died down It was so strong before that it lifted the trampoline that Santa turned up with for Christmas AND the ride on mower it was attatched to and moved them about a metre :eek: Tramp is now pegged to the ground. Still hot just not windy can handle the heat not the wind. How you going TLC I know you dont like the heat ? How is everyones dogs and other assorted animals coping with the heat ?

Well you know how I LOVE the heat :D I have to say even I'm not impressed with this But thats prob more to do with having a rotten headache than anything else LOL And spending way toooo much time on the computer looking at fish tanks as this MAY be my next venture LOL Not sure between a tropical tank setup or/and a pet yabbie LOL as the OH doesn't like the frogs and doesn't want them in the new house I will have to find another thing to annoy him with :rofl: He tried to tell me on Sat night I coukldn't have a yabbie and I reminded him that the last time he said that about frogs I ended up with 10 :eek: so maybe best if he not try and TELL me but perhaps suggest next time :D :D Thinking about making some icecream not sure if I can be bothered 41.7 ATM wow tis hot and they say wont cool down much till after 10 tonight starting to wish we had aircon LOL

We normally get notification if they are baiting in the area and have t had any so far this year And have also heard that there has been lots of fox shoots going on the last few months. Lots of gun shots heard and been td that it was for fox shoots anyway. Cheers Janet

Hey JJ, Had a couple of visitors at my house the last night a lovely GREEN sbt and a brown one and a very large fat striped marsh frog he was a lovely fat healthy looking froggy got a couple of pics (only of the marshy tho) that I will post when I get around to getting them off the camera. Oh and the biggest white lip I have EVER seen up in Cairns (I wish now I had of measured her) she was a monster at least the size of the palm of my hand easy makes the green tree's that I had look tiny in comparison !!! Sounds like there has been fantastic weather down here hope everyone made the most of it Pity we had the wettest day in Cairns in 50 years LOL I'm sure the rain follows me around (maybe I should start charging for it ROFL) Hope everyone is well and hope to catch up for a doggie playdate soon Cheers Janet

I know I've seen some somewhere advertised almost the same as ours only already made that you just have to put together but I still cant remember where but I know it was local as I kept thinking it may have been easier to have done it that way rather than make it. OOps forgot to mention that I have seen some dog runs advetised lately that look just like our but I just cant for the life of me think where??? I will take some photo's for you tomorrow and post them up and if you like it come out and have a look we are not far out of town inbetween Warrnambool and Koroit :D. MC I would be happy for your boy to meet my two but I'm not sure how it would go as the foxie x isn't really interested in kids only balls the ridgie is a one family dog and no one else really, but happy to come along for a catchup anyway with or with out dogs. Our dogs now get heaps of exercise so I'm not too stressed if I dont bring them along :D they love their 7 acres to run in and they sure do make the most of it LOL. Cheers Janet

OMG TLC how scary HUGS to you and to Tully xxx Maybe a trip to Chiro for her ??? Chatta We have the sort of run that I think you are talking about my husband made it I can take some pic tomorrow and post them if you like :D He said he got all the stuff from one steel metal corp in strong street. THe only part he said you might need someone to weld a bit on them is one the bottom of the poles so when you put them into the concrete they dont move they need like a rudder on a boat. IF you know anyone that welds otherwise anywhere that is a welding business will do this for you :D Our fences are 6 foot high with chain mesh fencing and a colorbond shed as a kennel. But like I said happy to take pics if you would like and if its what your after you are welcome to come out and have a look. It keeps our ridgeback boy who is a great jumper and our foxie cross who is a great escape artist in. Cheers Janet

I'm going to throw my 2cents worth in here too. I think the choice of pup is far more important that it fits with YOUR life style than what you deem suitable for your son ATM as your sons needs will change with time. He is only 3 and there are big changes ahead for him in the next couple of years whether he has been given a diagnosis or not. And you, as the parent are the one that will be training the pup so you need to figure out what sort of dog will fit into your lifestyle are you wanting a dog that you are happy to do lots of training and are you willing to walk the dog lots ??? Or are you after a dog that is lower maintanance ??? I know how much work a 3 year old is and a 3 year old on the spectum is alot of hard work !!! there are lots of variables that you need to ask yourself. Not saying DONT get on not at all just have a think about what breed will be the best fit for your family. And not end up as heart ache and hard work for you all. And what suits one family will not always suit another I have a mixed breed mutt and a Ridgeback that suit my family beautifuly I am wanting another dog BUT I will have to make sure its a perfect fit. It will have to fit in with existing dogs my and OH's work life and especially with my son (so it will have to be a very gentle breed) I wish you luck and a GREAT breeder who knows how to pick the right pup for you and will tell you truthfully if its not the right pup as some just will not suit.
