congrats on the birth look forward to update photos. is pups name ziggy just looked at your counter collar thingy. I should get one of those but do a count down till the 17th for bolt. chi4me. She has seattled in great awesome so far. took a couple of pics late last night. Went straight to clinic yesterday she is 26.9kilos lol said she could lose a kilo or two wouldnt kill her lol uses the new kennel I have no idea if she has ever had one but its great for me less stress shouldnt use it lol next lot of photos should be me collecting bolt from airport on the 17th and meeting beabea

just shared in the bully topic but will share here. Our new addition to our family BeaBea after a 500 odd km round trip. She is seattling in well. If you want to read her history pop into the bull terrier breed thread I dont want to flood post with the same info some might get annoyed. So hopefully she likes Bolt as she just super with Chelsea and loves everyone. If she doesnt get along with Bolt well my mother in law will take her home.

exciting times for everyone I'll jump back in. Bolts flights are confirm to fly in on the 17th to us. But tomorrow Im driving 2hrs to pick up another addition that I havent mentioned before not a puppy though but still doggy. This is BeaBea. Her family doesnthave time for her. She knows basic commands is sterilized. Had one litter in the past. When I get back into town will take her straight to clinic to scan for a chip hopefully a breeder as they dont know much about her has had 2 homes. Loves kids and pups so she will be great for when Bolt arrives.

I had just seen this topic to late now I booked my pups flights through dogtainers from Adeliade to Port Hedland including pick up and create hire $400. Was only $350 to Perth I could of then sent him on as extra luggage few weeks later but figured for extra $50 he can come straight to me. I have a large wire create sitting in perth but was just a head case booking 2 flights to swap creates etc. Next time will PM wayrod :D

oh Mirawee I hope foalie gets better soon. I stress so much as my mares foal down over 1800kms from me so I freak out all the time. I have some recent photos of my little girl nearly a month old now. Bolt's transport has been arranged he will fly in to Hedland about 5:40 on the 17th so counting down now. and my in laws are looking at a female bully that needs rehoming as the owners are leaving town and they think she is an inside dog so they cant take her to the new place. Desexed so hopefully it works Bolt will have a friend no promises though. 4 yr old female.

ok straight through seems to be it. Off to call local kennel club I seen them have a session last night full of pups have a feeling Ive missed this season's class now I wouldnt want to go to soon with him. Have spoken with local vet too have his food in stock so will go get some next week to have fresh. Will get him checkout for insurance at his 3rd vaccination. Excited much thats me lol just seen you edit emery lol i'll edit mine. I asked if I could switch creates from the hired one from SA to Perth. To the one I just brought to come up but they said no as they dont want to be moving the pup so much in and out ofa create incase something where to happen. Would they let someone take him for a little walk out the office? if they do thats sounds like a great idea

trying to organise transport for Bolt getting excited waiting for a call back from dogtainers. ok got call back while typing this Just not sure on how to fly him yet spoke to a couple of people and they said either way is fine that doesnt help me lol he can fly into from SA to Perth and carry on to Hedland $400 or he can fly from SA into Perth $350 and gate crash my sister inlaws house for nearly 2 weeks and fly up as extra baggage with his own create as I brought one from my sister inlaw she is awsome cost me 2 bottles of wine for her's thats been used 3 times large metal one. Looking into insurance etc getting closer Ive tried the pro'c and con's of trip straight here or break it up but Im at a loss not sure which way to go. Break the flying up or straight here to get it over and done with.

congrats on Minxy Just seen this post I can join, am trying to work out where to buy what for him as all my old stuff for my old girl is now with her. So I have to start fresh. thanks and as Mirawee said I have horses too. Race horses and my pleasure horses. Live in sunny Port Hedland saving and scrimping our monies to eventually moved to Harvey or the likes in a few years. Have been saying this for a few years also lol but Im going back to work after a 5-6 yr break from having my daughter and starting her life. Im currently dogless. Had to PTS my beautiful Amme just over a week ago (need to find someone to modify my sig as it looks like she is still with us) I had on order another pup from over east before she left us. Ive carried on with the order and got new photos yesterday. So this is Bolt (daughter named him and I cant change her mind lol) his the one on the left. Will be offically paid for tomorrow. I dont get him till his 11 weeks old. He passed his hearing test today so thats a plus.

thanks guys. as to the suggestions most are common knowledge here. I have a automatic watering bowl for fresh water on a deadicated tape in the shade of the carport. new shell paddle pools are on their way one for sand and one for water. yard has well shaded veranda, yard has palm tree's and old dig/lay holes from amme where she would cool under them if she needed them. the pup would mostly become inside doggy whilst Im not working so kennel would only be used while I pop to shops or pick daughter up from school. hi mirawee. Yep seen the topic for WA'ers just havent had the chance to pop in as I had no dog felt odd.

its ok and I don't mean to come off angry/offended I was more sadden that some came across to me as if it was a stupid idea. I know your comments weren't meant to but obviously I have taken it wrong so I apologies was probably not the best time for me to actually post was excited for a brief moment. The kennel was originally made for Amme but I had it design to fit 2 when I ordered new puppy many months ago. Just with tragic unforeseeable circumstance has lead to her being PTS. I always worried about her health especially as she got older just want to do things right and have a happy pup. So does anyone have any websites where I could purchase new gear/products from. I have humored my daughter and let her buy a $10 dog bed from K-mart today now on her spare bed in her room waiting. A puppy count down calendar.

if he doesnt like the kennel becuase of the noise thats simple I turn the air con off. So far every house hold I have seen with this kennel or similar here in town are not worried by it at all. One kennel is very flash set up windows split rooms as the older dogs were fighting over the 1 large room. Mine is not finished yet the AC is a spare from out at the stables (no the horses do not have air con lol) Im actually a little dishearten by some comments but thats what I get for posting on a public forum thats fine I'll take that. I know I have got this made with all the love and well being of my dog in mind due to isolation and climate. Oh someone asked what breed my pup is. His a bull terrier, I had him on order long before the sad passing of my girl. Worst case it becomes a very fancy kennel with an aircon that may or may not get used. I dont mind spending the money on my next loved family member. Was going to post photos once his seattled in and lapping up his air con with paddle pool near by. 5 star resorts I think.

ravenau1 I use to live in south but recenlty move into port. Its a few degree cooler here. but still when I go back to work I want to make sure his got his own house to be cosey in. I recently had to have my dog put to sleep while I was away. My house mate was freaking out she was hospitalised due to heat stroke/stress. Even though she was put to sleep for medical tumor related issue. I will always panic about heat stress in this area. and with this being a proven local product Im glad to support them.

ok first off summer here is 40-45 degree's sometimes more, yes there are a few of these kennels in town some rather large that can fit more dogs. the dogs hardly venture out of them especially during the hottest part of the day, the ones that i know with these that is. (note I live in Port Hedland North WA if that helps) Air con is set to the lowest setting some plastic fly streamers are placed on the door and there is enough pressure to keep it just right without blowing a gale out the front door. Air con running all day is not a problem as our house is fully air conned 24/7 because of climate. Pup will actually be living inside for the first month or so as I'm paranoid someone is going to pinch him. Its for later when his a tad bigger as I'm looking at going back into the work force after 6 years off. I had my house and car broken into recently so laundry open is not an option. Once his bigger no one will come into my yard again. Miss my Amme dog, it was designed for the both of them but she is no longer with us

With less than a month before our new puppy will arrive our new Kennel is nearly completed. Excitement plus. now I just need some good suggestions on websites to buy new puppy/dog stuff from as unfortunatly alot of the old stuff went in my old girls hole with her as my daughter choice to. Going to need new just about everything.

Thanks Im coping alot better than I expected I didnt even break down at the vets. I did lose it before the clinic had ot pull over at a servo and get my mother to come with me in the end. I had a friend dig her hole the night before for me. I could fit my daughters little mini pony in it so we had a giggle and that has seem to help. There is a hole left for when my daughters home next weekend. No doubt I will lose it then as she will cry and I dont think I could be strong enough to not cry with her. Have toys and her pink blankie to go in Chelsea's hole for her. Have a nice cross / name plate thingy coming from perth to place above her grave. Will get some nice large smooth stones to place around it. Thanks guys

RIP Amme 6/10/2010 I have laid you to rest by the big gumtree out the stables by orders of your 5 year old best friend and my daughter Chelsea. She will be home soon enough to complete your burial with your toys, treats & blankies. You were my best friend at times my only friend. Im sorry I was not there but I tried my hardest to get home as soon as I could. Ive been told you picked a time when you knew I was away so I didnt have to witness. You were always a star to our family so Chelsea and family have picked out the Northern Star to call upon you when she needs to. No more pain Amme dog you can keep those feral cats from our stables now.
