Jestson: I think you were talking about my Oscar, he does look good now but last year his hair was all brown and dead. He was diagnosed with an auto immune disease, he is now on meds so is heaps better.

How exciting getting a standard poodle, I have two and neither of them like water much but they are tennis ball crazy. Are you going to show and will you do your own grooming? Whoops forgot what colour?

I am gobsmacked, we have had our Newf for eight days now and he is four months old so 24 kilos of monster. I wouldnt dream of sending him back, my hubby just hit the nail on the head he said if they are prepared to do that the dog is better off finding another home.

OH GOSH!!! How exciting! Are you going to show your boy? :D PHOTOS!!!! Is he from Cornerbrook? Has he been a good boy? We get our Maddy in less than 24 hours!! Yes I am going to show him but in just a couple of months we stop showing up here because it gets to hot. He is Opalbay which is in patnership with Cornerbrook so the mum is cornerbrook but his prefix is Opalbay. He is sound asleep at the moment on my kitchen floor, I just hope that doesnt mean he wont sleep all night. I will do photos real soon. You must be so excited as well, my boys name has been Mannie but not sure I like it so am still thinking about a name. I did have Memphis but not sure on that either.

Well my last 24 hours has been a big one, I had hoped to have a Newfoundland join my mob some time in the next twelve months. Well that twelve months didnt happen when a 16 week old boy became available yesterday. He is from a breeder I have know well for about six years, I picked him up today so its been a very busy afternoon. I will post photos after, its always hard to get a good photo of a black dog. His name has been Mannie but not sure I like it so am still thinking about names.

Suziwong66 those puppies are so cute, its funny how Chocolate Labradors don't fade and the chocolates in other breeds do. I have a chocolate toy poodle and she is almost white in places. All the adults look like really lovely dogs, I bet you cant wait to have your new baby home.

I emailed them to request a cheaper postage as suggested by a DOL member, and they reduced it from over $35 down to about $18 I placed my order in the 20th of July so should arrive this week I hope. Cheaper postage usually means slower delivery times - hope that doesn't put the mockers on your parcel..... No hurry for me my new puppy is not here for a while yet.

I just watched a show called look what my dog ate on foxtel. A dog had eaten some sox and undies then he knocked a glass dish with chocolate brownies in it of the bench. He ate the chocolate brownies and part of the glass dish. When they operated the owner had no idea the dog had eaten the sox but in the end they had saved his life. The sox lined his stomach and stopped the glass from cutting his stomach, thats was one very lucky dog.
