Can't remember the rest. But my boy Isaak got his first points with a 9 pt challenge and runner up of breed. He doesn't get shown much, so I am really really pleased with todays result.
Congrats Gayle. What other Aussie's were there?
Chris Webbs girl Piper, who won BOB. A Dykinta dog, a blue merle. A Jadziah black tri dog. A black tri bitch owned by Les Mathieson but shown by someone else. An Owjedoo bitch, a Tayona bitch, can't think of the other one (I think it was a black tri dog), I gave my catalogue to Chris to keep. There were 4 dogs and 4 bitches. None went any further.
Great news for Chris, fantastic

Would you know who's Shih Tzu ?
Thanks
The new import of Morag's.

Had a tiger here in our side paddock last Saturday, the first and hopefully last we'll see so close to the house and dog yards. They usually stay down near the dam and in the shed in the far paddock, places we won't go at this time of year

I asked OH he said cheque has been cashed, I was sure I put a return envelope in this time???
Where is everyone staying for this weekend?
I may be in need of a bed for Saturday night.
BB
We are staying at our place and travelling each day, not that far for us either

Run off generally you can't even go to the loo without them wanting to be with you
All of ours go for a run down the back twice a day and usually they are waiting at the gate to come back in before I even finish the poo patrol

I too am fortunate enough to own one of these fantastic little dogs. Taz is the easiest dog to train to do anything
with, has never been a problem or really got into any trouble.
Hes not very friendly to other dogs or people but very loyal to the immediate family, but strangly enough he likes cats. The hair is something you just get used to
as it wafts across the floor and i find it in the strangest places.
I dont think i would be without a schipp, such happy little chaps with a big personality.
You do get used to the hair although on Saturday I was a bit over it being in my mouth, up my nose and everywhere else as we groomed out our boy having his first coat blow which of course had to be at specialty show time He was nicely bald for the show
Couldn't imagine life without one of these funny dogs, they certainly make you laugh.

Schipps are fantastic little dogs, my OH had GSD's and Dobes before we got together and will only have schipps now
They are very wash and wear and do not drop coat all the time like many of the short coat breeds and they can be obedience trained easily. Our old boy got his CD many years ago and was doing well in CDX until his sight started to diminish and he was retired then. Our little brain damaged girl got two passes in novice as well before becoming unable to continue. We used to have roosters wandering around and the schipps never touched them, can't say the same for the eagles or foxes though Schipps are VERY smart dogs and learn quickly. We start teaching our puppies to come the minute they can get around so all are good at coming when called. We do a lot of initial training between the ages of four and eight weeks but the pups don't realise they are getting training :D
They are a very special breed, got to love them.
But when they do drop their coat it is with avengence!
That's 'cos they are smart enough not to go near a Rooster!!
But while the coat drop may be huge it doesn't last that long
Our roosters were pretty tame but Schipps sure are smart dogs

That's why he's so good when called!!! And why he's sooo happy about it... ;)
He always was the first to come when called and thought it was the best game ever He loved to get first cuddles

We have this problem with one of our bitches and absolutely nothing makes any difference. We just have to let her go through the whole process and wean her "puppies" when they would be ten to twelve weeks old She is also headed for the operating theatre very soon.

We are expecting a litter of Schipps on the 16th, with any sort of luck there will be some black ones in there
-
Ophnbark,
Have you suggested to Maisie that she can stop feeding them now?
Did she look at you with those big brown eyes and tell you to go away?
BB
Maisie has finally decided that the teeth are getting a bit sharp so is not feeding them so much. Now they will eat a bit instead of looking at me like I'm trying to poison them
-
Gee they look so much bigger than that!
My lil guy is over 2kg now, so looks like he's the fatty!
Ah yes MM, bit yours will weigh more than 7Kg when he's grown up
-
They are rather fat but not through eating food, apparently Mum's milk is the substance of choice. I'm sure they will start eating soon as Mum is getting a little bit sick of being bitten by tiny teeth
-
OMG Ophnbark, they are certaintly NOT starving.
But very cute.
I hope they get very spoilt when they go to their forever homes.
BB
Fat Ella is staying BB, we'll see how she turns out. Definitely not starving
-
There huge Ophnbark, how much do they weigh?
Fat Ella weighs 1.25Kg and the boys are both 1.1Kg
